Why not? Not really done anything for us either way.
I don’t get what all these acronyms stand for, I’m not disagreeing with whatever it is you’re sayingWhy not? Not really done anything for us either way.

Well we're hardly going to let it be an 'option to buy' if he's forcing a move. Obligation, sure.Loan with an option/obligation to buy according to SSN:

EXCLUSIVE: Norwich close in on Slimane deal
Latest from Sky Sports News Rob Dorsett:
Norwich are close to agreeing a deal for Anis Ben Slimane from Sheffield Utd.
The deal is a loan with an option/obligation to buy.
It’s either an option to buy or an obligation. Fine if it’s the latter, but I don’t see we gain a huge benefit from loaning him with an option to buy unless he’s going to cause issues behind the scenes.Loan with an option/obligation to buy according to SSN:

Good point, that will likely be the case. Similar to the deal with we had with ArcherIt might be an obligation if they’re promoted but an option if they’re not.
Was hoping for a Polish striker for a second!isnt that the ex Blackburn guy?
We are not that luckyHas this cunt gone yet
Medical passed
If its the only option to get him out of the club for the time being we may have to suck it upStill saying purchase 'option'. I've been massively defending the club this week but if we let them have Slimane on loan with only an option to buy then that's poor. Probably why Wilder was acting so annoyed about it.

We shall see today as you say. Wasn't too fussed about losing either but I don't believe either are as bad as some are making out for the championship and wiuld slot in to a strong side ok. Not replacing them at this stage will be disappointing and puts a lot if pressure of the young uns.Does seem odd that a squad that clearly needed rebuilding has suddenly been stripped of its senior cover players (Trusty, Slimane) right at the end of the window.
If we don't replace them we've weakened ourselves. Regardless of your thoughts on the two players, they've both had plenty of minutes in our opening games.
Quite a big day for us today.
What we do will say a lot about our ambitions this season. It will be a shame if we don't capitalise on what's shaping up to be another weaker looking Championship because we didn't look far away a couple of weeks ago.
We're now leaving ourselves looking really short with probably too much to do in one day.
Pointless loan move. Even less bodies in the building now, and they’re not taking up the obligation.Confirmed loan move to Norwich
