Yeah true. But he was getting chances under Wilder, and it's for him to force his way into the starting 11.

If it's Norwich he is off too, he should expect the same treatment there.

I think when he watches the game back he might appreciate Peck's efforts a bit more. It wasn't his best night, maybe only 50% of what he tried came off, but he did constantly try to be positive and progress the play. For such a young lad with such little first team experience, i think he can be proud of his work overall. I would say over the two cup games he has done enough to put him as first alternate in the CM positions as the squad stands.

peck missed a sitter but what i did like about him was that he showed for the ball all night unlike a few of our other non performers think hes worth keeping in the squad

Probably needs about 50 games at this level to get upto speed and learn his position, would be a decent gamble for a midtable championship team.

Exactly, swapping someone who we were playing out of position as a sub for someone who can actually play as LW.

I know we're playing Hamer out of position by playing him out wide on the left, but he plays alright in that position anyway.
