At which point, I would point you towards the size of your pay packet, your responsibilities as a professional footballer to your teammates and your fans and remind you that as an elite athlete with international level experience you can’t react like you’re playing in a Sunday League pub team
He instigated the response let the game go onNo. It wasn’t irrelevant, but, in my view, it did not meet the threshold for a sending off so that’s why he was only booked. However, Anel jumping up from the floor, running over to Bassette and pushing him by the throat DID meet the threshold and that’s why he was sent off. He should know by now, NOT to be goaded into this type of retaliation. Stupid, and potentially costly, sending off for us.
Won't disagree with youIt is. The ref didn't spot it. No excuse for his reaction after the next challenge.
Completely irrelevant. This is on a football pitch. A professional footballer deliberately trying to get a fellow professional sent off is unforgivable. Take your sky blue blinkers off n look at all the inceidents involving Bassette. You ranger needs to have word. If we had a player in the ranks who behaves like that I’d be embarrassed and disgusted. He will get his comeuppance before the season is out if he carries on like that. Back to your point. It does happen occasionally and most people back the police officer as the shithouse deserves all they get.I'd be very interested to know if you'd have the same opinion if it was say, a police officer that had been goaded by a little shithouse and they ultimately lost it?
He really is a nasty piece of work, don't normally like the "I hope someone snaps a players leg" stuff but he's really getting to the fuck it he deserves it. Presume this was against Sunderland.
He sails a bit close to. The wind far too often and sometimes the minuatae of the interpretation of the rules goes against youAnel retaliated and you can’t do that. Red card all day. Some thought he was smart when he threw the wed player Smith in the net in the Derby game the other week. I thought he was daft.
But the fact he winked at United players should have brought more from the Ref who was naive to say the least! Anyway the nob has to come to the Lane yet and I assume he'll get a dogs reception! Where is Chris Morgan when you need him!The wink says it all ...

If the ref had done his job Bassette would have been booked for simulation and booked again for the elbow long before the incident that resulted in Anel walking. Then you’d also have been sent off
He should have had two yellow cards for diving long before that incident and another one for looking like a rat off a Coventry council estateIf the ref had done his job Bassette would have been booked for simulation and booked again for the elbow long before the incident that resulted in Anel walking.
Like to know what Bassette said
Let’s not stoop to the pigs level. He’s a top class cunt though.
Show us where it says life has to be fair.So that’s fair ?
The one with Van Dijk was never going to be a red (for us at least) as the smaller Premier League sides aren't allowed to have favourable decisions against the big 6, remember Nunez (who was already on a yellow card) trying to break Bogle's leg in the build up to their second goal at the lane, or Konate pushing Mcatee over in front of the Kop.
Is that other one against Fulham, looks like their away kit.
