Maybe so. If we got £12 - £15m for Anel I wouldn't be bothered about him going and I would have said that before the season even started to be honest.

The difference for me is Robinson is worth nowt. He's a disaster waiting to happen on a regular basis but some think he's good because he's willing to smash a brick over his thick scouse head. I doubt anyone else in the top 2 thirds of the championship would want him and we played him in nearly every game last season in the premier league.

I'd personally rather give Trusty a run of a few games.

Wilder should've never made Robinson captain, to be honest. He might be a leader in the dressing room, but the captain should also be one of the better players. Someone who should also exude calmness like Egan did. Robinson got into a fight with his own teammate last season, ffs.

Height and physicality are pre requisites in the Champ. A team with Robbo, Burrows, Gilchrist, O'Hare, Anel, Arblaster, Hamer in it doesn't have enough. Under the aerial ball Davies is also not good enough. That two in the middle struggled out of possession as soon as Souza got booked and couldn't commit.

absolutely spot on robinsons ok in a 3 but a liability in a back 4 maybe try souttar and trusty for norwich although got a feeling wilder might revert back to a back 3 again at norwich

IMO the views on here over Robinson have been a fairly useful barometer for me on how much attention to pay. He’s only ever been the most basic of defenders. I understand why amid a season which saw one of the worst ever Premier League defences he was seen as a leader, and even lauded for his attitude and willingness, but I can’t believe anyone saw him as anything more than a very average player. It’s no surprise in a season like this where we’re hoping for a better standard of performance than 4/10 each week he’d be shown up a bit more.

Also, you don't have to be a giant to be a good cenre half in this league. Tom Lockyer is a great example of this.
