Have to ask when we are seemingly skint, in some sort of takeover hindrance and have haemorrhaged a shit tonne of players in the last month quite what most folk are expecting when we need to build a whole new squad.

We need to get a move on, and this lad only has to be better than the likes of Slimane and a whole raft of inexperienced youth players at the moment.

If he shows fitness, athleticism and desire Wilder will get him in if the wages are reasonable

As I’ve said previously, I can’t understand the comments about this being a ‘Wilder rehabilitation project’. He played more games last season than both McCallum and Shackleton combined. What makes them any different?

We’ve signed players before who weren’t wanted by other clubs and they’ve turned out brilliantly for us. Our fans have very short memories sometimes.

Thought it strange in commentary how Paul Beesley seemed to have greater knowledge of a trialist that the actual squad, was almost like he was his agent the way he went on about him. In reality he seems a bit of a Mikele Leigertwood, alright but nothing to get excited about, although the goal was good.

We're only 1 injury to Arblaster (which almost happened yesterday) to being even deeper in the poop.

Free transfer, not outrageous wages.. very little downside to signing him in my opinion.

I think Paul Beesley was the kit man at Ipswich for a time when Dozzell was playing for them. That’s probably why he knew so much about the boy.

Plus if we also sign a Grimes/McLean, as I think we'll still want to, then Dozzell would be redundant. Peck needs to be factored into first team plans this season, then there's Shackleton, Brooks and Davies to back up Hamer and Arblaster plus anyone else we sign who can play CM as a second position
