It’s worth getting rid of wilder just to get rid of the fucking cunts that follow him around.

It’s the same as any other person. They may be good they may be crap. Just ringing the DoF DoF DoF bell doesn’t make it a the answer. All it says is, “ I don’t like this one, can I have a different one but make sure this one has a fancy hat on so it looks exotic, like all those others do”If it's a dickhead that knows what they're doing, then I'd go with that
Why?Well… right or not, they are still nobheads
Just shut shop !.Why?
RamsdaleThe previous "Brooks" we sold, isn't he still our record transfer fee received?
I think Andre might be a shade better... maybe, but that is just my opinion. But bare in mind nearly a decade has gone since we sold David Brooks and footballer valuation has mostly gone up (See Tom Cannon for more details) yet we get a measly £9 mill from a Chump team. Hmmm...
I see their DoF managed to snaffle a highly rated player from a divisional rival for less than expected as a result of a coordinated long term campaign! Still the WhatsApp group of sunday league management marches on! Or rather is on holiday in the USA with his matesIt’s the same as any other person. They may be good they may be crap. Chris any chance of a plan B next season ?Reading his comments about leaving on snapchat is interesting.
Its not so much as what he says but more about what he doesn't say.
He never mentions the manager or refers to Wilder anywhere.
Which does reinforce comments in this thread about him and Wilder not seeing eye to eye. Maybe there is some truth in it. Maybe not. We'll never really find out i suppose.
We can all moan and complain that Wilder has no idea or COH are clueless or the opposite etc etc .
One thing is for sure: we are down £40 million this year with no parachute payments coming in.
So sales are going to have to be made whether we like it or not. And most of us wont like it.
Hamer will go. Hopefully we can get £4 million for him. Peck will probably go, possibly to another championship rival. West Ham, who allegedly are interested. Again it wont be for the type of fee we would like. I'd guess a similar price as Brookes at around £8 million. If we are to believe rumors Rangers have been sniffing around Tyreece. On TransferMarket hes valued at £7 million. We'd get no where near that, more like £3 or at best £4 million for him. With a couple more outgoings we could have a pot of around £25/26 million to play with. Again this is only speculation on my part. I could be way off and probably I am.
But with that amount to play with we should have some good options to look at.
Souttar wont want to play in league one with Leicester. the right offer would get him in. And I'm sure he'd come under the right terms. One other good defender ought to be enough to shore up our woeful efforts of defending last season.
I was told Philips was out in Leeds watching the England match with Bamford the other night. Not exactly life confirming but it may suggest he will be here next season.
Then we'd have Philips Rothwell Arblaster and Chong/O Hare in midfield. (not perfect but not bad either)
I ve been told by a source (no names no pack drill) that Bamford has been attending an elite training camp to get himself at his best BEFORE preseason. If he performs like he did last season he could be a 15/20 goal man. Cannon (yes I know) wasn't what we'd hoped for. But there were glimpses (not enough) of what he COULD be. With Bamford around hopefully he'll improve and be A LOT MORE consistent. And then there's One. Another with potential. He was excellent at Lincoln by all accounts.
With a few more additions it may not be as bad as we think. (It probably will end up worse. Sorry I ve been a Blade too long).
Anyway, it will be interesting what ever happens.
These are just my musings and will quite probably be millions of miles off what really happens.
The good news is I'm back in the UK for the Wolves match so will get at least one match in next season.
Was thinking this. Meant to be our manager but has taken a holiday during pre-season. Also takes thousands of pounds a week from the club. If he's such a big blade why not work for free? Or put the money in he'd have spent on a season ticket.I see their DoF managed to snaffle a highly rated player from a divisional rival for less than expected as a result of a coordinated long term campaign! See wilder has sent his mouth piece out nice and early

I can’t see the positives in this unless we absolutely need the money. I know he can be inconsistent, but he unsettles defenders with direct running, is difficult to predict and makes things happen. Norwich have a top player. Just surprised a premier league club didn’t come in for him.
The last 4 seasons we’ve needed the window in a worse position than we entered it.
I’d love to know where people are getting this blind faith that anyone at the club has got any idea what they’re doing.
Bullshit….
It’s an embarrasing transfer done whilst the manager is on holiday, for less money than the market rate, probably as a result of a) not getting the player signed up to a longer contract and b). Wilder falling out with him. But hey if you like that sort of unprofessional goings on then crack on yourself! I want Utd to be better run and succeed beyond Wilder and your strange obsession with keeping an antiquated off pitch set up. It’s tinpot and deep down you know itDid they?
What’s less then expected really mean?
But if resorting to calling it Sunday league makes you feel so much better, then crack on.
Where are you going on your hols?
What a complete roasterthe irony of Wit(less) calling Brooks out for wanting money, whilst blatantly ignoring the fact Wilder back doored after forcing his sacking. Full weight bell.
Looks like he's got jaundice - perhaps that's why we moved him on
Brooks never seemed to get the same Bladey-Bladness other lads born in Sheffield and supporting our club got…
Fans don’t set fees.

And yet some on here will still defend him. SAD
Don't give a toss about the 30 odd year olds he's signed, far more focused and angry about the 20 odd year old he sells!Firstly, I am just as annoyed as anyone else that Brooks has gone. But I keep seeing comments like this - the facts don't actually back this up:
Players signed by Wilder over the age of 30:
16/17:Leon Clarke (31), Mark Duffy (30), Jake Wright (30)
17/18:Clayton Donaldson (33)
18/19: Martin Cranie (31), David McGoldrick (30)
19/20: Phil Jagielka (36),
20/21:0
23/24 (Jan): 0
24:25: Kieffer Moore (31)
25/26: Bamford (32), Rothwell (31), Phillips (30)
I'd say the majority he has signed 30 or over has been a resounding success or at least very useful. Rothwell and Phillips probably his worst two of that list. Jagielka at 36 is something of an outlier. He's signed 3 players over the age of 31 in all his years with us.
I’m not advocating keeping an antiquated model. I’m just not convinced a DOF model with our facilities, budgets and status is the correct one, at this stage. You need a lot more money than COH appears to have if you’re going to make a model like that work. It’s an embarrasing transfer done whilst the manager is on holiday, for less money than the market rate, probably as a result of a) not getting the player signed up to a longer contract and b).
