Can't NC see how poor we are offensively in Division 1. Brings in 5 players. Only 1 is a striker. Madness!

Higdon is crap. McNulty is a squad player (at best), Adams & De Girolamo are inexperienced. Doyle, Wallace (K), Reed, Scougall, Cuvelier & Baxter hardly score goals.

So, is everything resting on Done to change our fortunes along with Murphy?

Why not bring in loan striker (or two)? What is the downside?

Ship out on loan some of the army of midfield & defenders to make room.

The joke bids for GMS suggest that COG was first pick and was probably first pick in Summer too. We've failed for whatever reason twice and the only other target we seem to have been credibly linked with is the injured bloke from Blackpool.

Time, however, to suck it up. No point going on and on about a striker, because we have what we have and have to crack on with it. The squad already looks too big - how do you choose 11 from 40 as a stand out, settled side? - and we simply don't have time to factor in any extra tinkerage

Everybody knows what's required and, presumably, the consequences if the bare minimum of play-offs isn't achieved. It's going to be more difficult than we think given everyone will now want to put it over on "The Cup Tarts" but again, that comes with the terretory.

Onwards.
