I though my iPad was fucked when I watched the bit with Basham arriving, but it seems like it’s a colour filter thingy. Definitely blue.
I’m not watching the rest of it though, they can fuck off. I know how it finishes.
I've just finished episode 5...even though I know how it ends I'm going to have to watch episode 6 just to revel in the glory of their failure one more time.

I love how I'm watching this just before they play wigan again as well.

Altogether now..."Leeeeeeeeds, Leeds are falling apart, AGAIN!"

Marching on to... Ermmm nowere really.

My wife's brothers and dad are Leeds fans. From Donny. Gave it large all season....I quietly kept my powder dry..... Fucking loved it when I saw them after the season had ended.

The odd blue of their shirts is direct from source too.

How long are the episodes?

Around 45 mins...6 parts...watched 2 but will watch a few more every few days....so far they have appointed Bielsa...players train a lot...they win a lot and fight back a lot and we feature from the game in December with McCabe arse licking the Leeds owner..before Henderson's error...they omitted most of our good chances in that game and made it look like they were pressing to score before they did.

I will return to spygate, Bashsms arriving and the implosion in a few days.

Aside from it being amusing to watch them fall apart I think it is poor and not a patch on the City or Sunderland ones...they were more fly on the wall. This one seems to have a few interviews with the owner, chief executive, d of football and a few fans, players and that boxer Josh Warrington but theres no dressing room stuff, little real insight about Bielsa we did not already know. It's basically coming across as a season review rather than a documentary to me. The Sunderland one was a lot better and had me more emotionally involved even taking away my anti Leeds stance.

So they even put out a poor documentary. It may improve...well it will from episode 4 for me!

The commentary of the games is poor too. Obviously recorded after the fact, which takes all the emotion out of it. They should have used the live radio comms, which I think they did for the Sun'lun one.

Leeds proper colours are all blue - sometimes with a hint of yellow.
More than a hint of yellow last season, as we all witnessed ;)
They changed to all white (Revie in the 60s, I believe) for two reasons
1. A fawn to Real Madrid
2. Pretentious arrogant dirty bastards

And absolutely biased in Leeds' favour.
Commentary is god awful - a biased emotion-vacuum.
Pleasantly surprised to hear the “Leeds are falling apart” chant echoing around at the end of the game.
Also, interesting to see Bamford and Ayling trying to convince each other that Bamford didn’t “dive” against Villa and was assaulted...comparing it to “attempted murder” 😂

I'm just giving episode five a watch now. The Leeds players clearly thought they'd done enough after beating Millwall. The daft grins on their faces as they walked down the tunnel shows the arrogance.

It's lovely innit.

It's "OOOOhhhhhhhhh look at us we are weeds united and don't deserve to be outside the PL" sympathy program, the are becoming....no actually are the 2nd deluded

This is one of the best things Ive ever watched! The pure unadulterated butthurt from the Leeds fans/players and officials after Bashambauer skewered them is so bloody brilliant.

The indian bloke's first game and all, when he cries at the end I nearly fell off the sofa laughing!

Strangely watching this and knowing we piss on their parade is almost more satisfying than watching our own season review would be.

Speaking of do we have an official review?

Watched every episode starting at episode 1 yesterday, really enjoyed it, excellent production, professionally made.

Enjoyed the human side of the emotion/ fragility of the players and the Italian director with his backroom staff.
The bit I enjoyed the most was their almost continual confidence from the Leeds players and fans about being promoted.Their fans did have a delusion that they had the best team. They kept showing the league table and it was great to see us up there most of the season but we gradually moved up the league from Christmas.
Also enjoyed the fiasco regards the Dan James non-signing......just shows how deals can all be agreed...done and dusted....but still don’t always happen.

However it’s incredibly biased towards Leeds making them appear that they were really the best team in the league with the best supporters in world football.
It also made it appear that the Leeds players and staff were so nice and likeable (except Bamford).......many neutrals will feel sympathy towards them and now want them in the PL. Thought Patrick Bamford came across as an arrogant tosser or maybe it’s just his face that gives that impression ....couldn’t believe the bit when he was fined for feigning injury against Villa. Bamford just kept saying “I wouldn’t have fallen down for nothing...I will have felt something in my face...and fair enough I probably did make a meal of it”. Even after all the video evidence he’s still trying to defend his cheating.

Also I don’t think Bielsa revealed enough about himself. It also seems that his reputation is very hyped.
He supposed to be revered as a tactical genious but he’s won very little in his career
Also to be leading 1-0 at home to Wigan against 10 men highlights a tactical blindness.
They were also leading 2-0 at home to Derby in the play-off semi but naively continued to attack leaving themselves open.....again tactical blindness.

I get the impression that Bielsa is incredibly stubborn and obsessional about playing a certain way.
I admit Leeds do have a very good plan A, bit unlike us under Wilder they have no plan B or C.
A great coach needs to be flexible with tactics but this is something Bielsa can’t do.
Also a great manager needs to be a great leader and motivator...
when you see pressure games towards the end of the series you see that Bielsa is very private and shy....really lacking motivation of his players.
Maybe thats why Bielsa has won very little....maybe he’s be better suited in the Alan Knill, assistant manager role providing the brains....with someone else as front man.

Bamford came across like a complete dickhead. I thought Ayling was quite funny joking sarcastically at how bad the injury was to Bamford's face.

What was very L**ds United was them planning their Premier League shirt mid season. I liked how Russell Crowe sounded more depressed towards the last few episodes.

You could clearly see why it fell apart for them. They got ahead of themselves as a club and as a team they were so cocksure they were already promoted. Throw in Bielsa's lack of plan B then it was the perfect storm for them to fail.

God that's so upsetting. Who is the bearded four eyed twat?

They introduced him and his new wife before the match.

He’s a Leeds fan from Malaysia on his honeymoon. He said he decided to make his honeymoon special by attending his first ever Leeds match.
He said that when he was a young kid he looked at the English league table and choose Leeds United because he liked the sound of their name.

The programme makers set up that match to be a big celebration with all these characters
But we spoiled the party by pissing on their chips. It’s a bit cruel but actually quite funny to see their cockiness followed by misery.

Serves the gits bloody right....
shouldn't have been so bloody cocky...
diff between that weeds/blades from now and the teams from the "UNITED" series was, That Leeds team everyone including us blafes at that time knew they were strong and would last the pace...we also knew that we would as well...but when we got bloody trumped/thumped and ferking kidney punched at their place 4-0 in 90, it was like a mental meltdown for us all interlinked telephay wise...mental shoutbox area just imploded....(no tinterweb then)

Although the documentary comes under the category of entertainment I did notice that at times it almost seemed like a disguised sales pitch for investment.

It starts by saying how Leeds are one of the biggest names and one of the most historic clubs in British football with the most passionate fans.
Kemar Roofe says “you never realise how big Leeds United are until you play them”. He said he can go anywhere in the UK or anywhere in the world and you end up meeting a Leeds fan. They also interview some Norwegian Leeds fans and they make a big deal about how the Scandinavian supporters club has 5000 members.

There is also a lot of attention given to the Chairman, giving his history/ upbringing, personal and business values and they even introduced his family.
The programme makers seemed overly keen on painting Radrizzani as really nice business man who is 100% dedicated in making LU a success.

They made it clear that although the LU Chairman is rich he’s not mega rich and is taking a big financial risk funding the football club.
Looks to me like if LU don’t get promoted this season then they’ll be in financial trouble,

Around Feb19 they showed him in meetings with executives from the San Francisco 49’s who seemed (at the time) keen to invest in LU.
I reckon it was based on them receiving extra funding but only if LU were promoted, so the investment never happened.

There was almost a sales pitch at the end of the last episode from Radrizzani saying how over the last 12 months he’s received loads of offers to buy a stake in LU but he’s always refused because he prefers the challenge of doing it himself. However he admitted that he still wants to remain charge but is now willing to bring investors on board who might want to buy a stake in a club that has such massive potential to be major players in the PL.

Any billionaires or wealthy consortiums watching the series might be charmed into ploughing multiple millions into Leeds United FC.

Do all Leeds fans have Tourette’s that makes them say “leeds Leeds Leeds “ every 2nd sentence

The Sunderland one was narrated in more of a neutral manner and was the better programme for it.

The gushing, unquestioned pro-Leeds stance of this makes for a poorer documentary, but a more satisfying watch from the perspective of everyone who hates them.

Not surprising really, its a documentary made by the owners company.

Shows his level of ego, it's a documentary on Leeds United and their manager but the intro finishes with just him on his own sat down.

Watched the last two episodes this evening. Overall, as a documentary I thought it was flash, slick, and bollocks. Very funny though. Documentaries don't need narrators - look at "United" in 1990 for example.

Trailer for Leeds 'film' that's coming out on Amazon. Similar to the Sunderland one on Netflix.
Can't wait to see reactions to their loss at home to us!
Plus them bottling it in play offs, bottling it to 10 man Wigan, and the Villa fiasco!

Watched it last week. Episodes 5 & 6 are pure gold as 'leeds fall apart again'!!
