Will be funny this season as well when their manager walks when results don't go their way.

I’d have more interest in this than the Leeds one.
Their trip to Oakwell should be an interesting episode!
Also, I would assume that Ched will probably be one of the focus points of the series given his unusual career...I can't imagine that won't get a mention.

Going to sound mental here but I grew to like league one, although conquering it is obviously the highlight.

Only watched episode 5, which has its obvious highlights (the Owner's Mrs being one), but it was quite dull overall.

I've watched excerpts of episode 5. The bitterness in the narration of our game is delicious. "Then, a rare counter attack from Sheffield United..." I was half expecting Crowe to add "...the dirty bastards."

Don't know whether I can be arsed to watch the whole series. While I feel I should find the subject more entertaining, doesn't grab me like the Sunderland one did.

Just started Episode one. The sense of entitlement and exaggeration of Leeds’ standing in world football is hilarious.
The other point is their owner isn’t massively loaded. £300-400 million. If they don’t go up again this year he can’t keep this level of investment going.

I went straight to episode 5, sorry, I just couldn’t help myself, it’s even funnier the second time around especially with Russel Crowe’s misery filled voice over that’s more suited to a state funeral. 😂 😂 😂

Lots of Phillips being a local lad and being Leeds through and through.

Would loved us to have signed him before the window shut. It would just fuck up this episode entirely.

Oh, and Bielsa hates any sort of cheating and won’t tolerate it. 🤔

‘‘Twas always thus !

I've just written my review on Amazon:

Leeds United: Chris Basham's Season in Review

The true, no holds barred, unadulterated story of how one man (Chris Basham) ended a season filled with promise by slide tackling the ball into the back of the net on a rain soaked Elland Road pitch in mid-March. The hero of this piece (Chris Basham) struck his memorable promotion-killing super goal in the 71st minute. What preceded and what followed is both largely irrelevant and forgettable bar one moment of spectacular acting from Patrick Bamford.

Narrated by Russell Crowe.
Starring: Chris Basham
Supporting Cast: Chris Wilder, Billy Sharp and Sheffield United Football Club.

Just watched last 2 episodes. The footage where the dirties were discussing the aftermath of the Villa game boiled my piss. First Ayling telling us that Bumford had a swollen eye the size of a grapefruit. Cue footage of Bumford in gym without a mark on him then laid on treatment table having his ego massaged while saying he made a meal of the incident where he got Villa player sent off. His excuse that the Villa player had intended to swipe him was laughable. Just emphasises what a total full weight nob end he is. Enjoyed rest of it though. Laughed my tits off. And as somebody posted earlier Russell Crowe sounds like he’s reading a eulogy😂

Why didn't that young blade fan kidney punch Arnand with his new wife when he was being interviewed before weeds v blades game, education system is broken.....dooomed i tell ya

Like that ‘rare’ counter attack Ali gave Foreman...
