Russell Crowe suits DirtyLeeds down to the ground as he is an utter knobhead too.

Remember him storming out of an interview when quizzed over his Robin Hood accent?

"BBC radio arts reporter Mark Lawson said he felt his impression from Crowe’s performance was that “Robin Hood was an Irishman who took frequent holidays in Australia.”

ISC - Gently humming that Kylie 'Do the no-promotion with Leeds' song

I’m LOLing! Imagine having to watch your team fall apart again at the expense of Yorkshire rivals

Then imagine having a red carpet event for finishing 3rd...

“LeEds UnITEd”
Well, we had an open top bus when we finished 3rd in 02/03 so let’s not throw too many stones 🙃

A film about Leeds scum eh, is this some sort of disaster movie without the happy ending? 😂😂😂
Why as a player would you turn up to the premier?
Just to recap, this is a documentary about your failure last season.

Wow, how brilliant is this going to be. Can't wait ! As wilder said, Over to us , indeed!

I must say, all jokes aside, I think it's going to be right up there as football documentaries go - None of this Man city rubbish which is currently on prime. There is no denying there is a story here and i will be watching it for more reason than one.

Bielsa is certainly a character and there was quite a few up and more importantly downs last year for them.

I do think it's going to be a cracking watch which will be made all the sweeter by that wet Saturday afternoon in the middle of march.

Don't forget the Bassett era the BBC made 'United' shown on Beeb 2 at the time 6 part series I think
It was brilliant; theme tune "United" by Judas Priest, they timed it just right to finish at Leicester what a day 5th May 1990 we went up, pigs come down.

They should redo us again as I'm sure we were probably one of the first teams to have a full season filmed?

But yeah wouldn't watching it for the way they utterly utterly fuck things up in the end!

Take me home my arse....

Stirring stuff no doubt.

"My name is Danny Mills. Commander of the Cheating Dirties, General of the Chest Thumping Cunts, loyal servant to Not Dead Enough Don, father to Gary Kelly, husband to Robbie Todgers, and I will have my vengeance in this league or the next"

Yep, this one and the Fleetwood doc should both be great watches. The Sunderland one from last year was also far more superior to the quite boring Man City one

What's the point watching that when you already know how it ends ?

Ever watched Titanic?

I guess it's a bit like that

More significantly, why is Russell Crowe narrating it?

I can just imagine him as a scummy Leeds fan

I'll watch (obtaining now) as I hear the ending is hilarious, however does anyone find it just wrong that they're essentially lauding up, publicising and rolling out with a red carpet what was a fucking failure of a season?

The doco obviously would of been signed off well before the season started. I guess they imagined promotion was a shoe in. But now that it's fallen apart (as usual) theyve paid Crowe to narrate and got all this footage i spose they thought they might as well release something. Even if it does highlight what an epic failure they are.

thing is, they've managed to convince themselves it wasn't a failure. I saw one of them arguing with Blades Analytics on Twitter saying that because they've got Bielsa and a good youth team they don't see last season as a failure. the mental gymnastics required is unbelievable, it's S6 levels of delusion. they were pissing the league and threw it all away to their county rivals who had only just come up from the 3rd division, before collapsing spectacularly in the playoffs. unless they planned in the championship, that is a failure!
