To get the true best from him he has to be allowed to float around finding pockets of space, linking play and isolating defenders. The to me suggests either being given free roam as a 10 or playing in a fluid front 3 where the two wide players interchange.
as much as i dont rate mcburnie i think its time for him and brewster to play up front with freeman in behind em as the number 10 i would go 4312 now drop fleck for osborn play berge in the centre and bring bogle in for norwood with a back 4 of baldock egan davies and rnd

youve hit the nail on the head there yogi in that last paragraph weve no players who can carry the ball and go past people weve had this problem for 18 months now and has never been addressed
Do you really think diallo will carry the ball and go past people in this division though? Remember when 6 foot 5 berge tried this against Birmingham so they just kicked the absolute s*** out of him for 90 minutes and the ref gave him no protection? Imagine what they’ll do to a 5 foot 8 19 year old. I just don’t see him as the answer personally, although I’d love to be wrong.

5 foot 10 Sessegnon destroyed this league as did 5ft8 Benrahma, if he has the ability he will be fine

rubbish

There's no chance that Diallo will come here, absolutely none.

Just too much flair, too much ability, too much individuality, too exciting, he wants to do the unusual and can't stick to a rigid, boring, turgid, gameplan.

He'd be no good at being dragged back into his own penalty area to defend long throw ins and corners.

He can't get stuck in and hoof it.

It's possible that with the ball at his feet he might want to run forwards with it, he might do the unthinkable and attempt to run past a defender.

This cannot be allowed, it might get the fans on their feet for two seconds and create some excitement, this might lead to singing, chanting, and if this happens a sizeable number of our fans will complain, some will shout "siddarn cunt" which might lead to somebody else saying "shut the fuck up" which might lead to somebody else saying " Ooooo thar fukin talking too" and launching an empty crisp packet at someone.......if that happens the safety executive at Sheffield City Council will reduce our stadium capacity to about 18,000 to quell the chances of a full scale riot.

It's got nightmare written all over it, we should stick to what we're good at, buying players that immediately make you think, "phhhhhfffff, oh my God, WTF", and then we can all continue to be in an almost drug induced coma, and reduce the risk of serious crowd disturbances.

Seem to remember a 5ft nowt David Brooks dancing his way through this division too. What an odd comment.

And a 5ft X 5ft John fleck having a good go at it as well.

Anal dildos improve everything. Trust me.

Apparently its down to the player.
Sounds like Man U are happy for him to come.
Its more what division the lad wants to play in.

We will not be signing this good player, if we do he'll be shit for us anyway. Hendo was the exception to the rule.

Bogle, Diallo, Brewster upfront would be a start. Need the midfield to shape up - time to bin off the old guard. Think Slav probably feels the same way. Weirdly other than the keeper - think the defence is fine other than what we do at LB.

Or what end of the division he wants to play at.

Another problem with leaving business til the end of the window. Before the season started we were one of the favourites for promotion and looking like a good place to go and play. Now we are bottom 3 he migjt be thinking do I want a relegation fight at a club that hasn't scored a goal in 3 games.

Could be a double edged sword that as well. If it's just a loan I'd want to go to a team I knew I was going to shine in.
