It is Man U though, his parent club. At least he's in the country.

This trend of loaning players to Germany. I could see the appeal in the past Dortmund for instance there is nothing there so there is very little distraction but now I’m sat trying to think of success stories and I’m struggling

Of course Sancho and Bellingham went and made a success of it but they were permanent deals, I’m sure I’m just drawing a blank here and there will be some success stories but I can’t thing of any player going to Germany on loan tearing it up and coming back a better player? Help me out here

Lads tore it up in the U23s, but really he's stills raw talent, and needs game time in a tough league (imo) If Slav moves forward with wingers he's guaranteed game time, as there's no one to challenge that spot.

There was a lad called Dean we had from them, his value, experience and quality went up during his time here

Agree. He will get plenty of game time with us if he is as good as we think. He might not get that at a Premiership club.

For sure, Hendo came on leaps and bounds with us. I'd argue that was more Wilder's man management than us as a club though.

Think it also depends on the mentality of the player. You could see Hendo's drive and determination to want to make up for his mistakes. He didn't need that arm around him. Wilder knew how to handle him.
