Am I allowed to be excited about today?

This is what the FA cup is about. You don't get great footballing games in the early round, but hopefully the longer you go the excitement builds, and with both Sheffield clubs in the last 16 I am hoping for 2 easy games and the possibility of playing them in the quarters or even further.

Be excited. Into the 5th round, watched by a better crowd than across city. #massive my arse

Low pressure game, chance to see some of the fringe players, good chance to win, good chance of a cup run, Evans might make his comeback. Yep, looking forward to it. Just wish we could've organised something to make the atmosphere decent.
Bang on ! Didn't care really, happy to win - hope for a good draw next round. You never know the league campaign might be looking less good by the time of the next round and if so, fucking go for it !!

I’m a shift worker from Glasgow (get the violins out) and try to make at least one game a season.
I haven’t been down this season so far and as it stands the next league game I can make is the last one against Preston on 28th April.
I can, however, make the next round of the cup so I am absolutely desperate for a home draw, preferably a big game to attract a decent crowd.

No its wank. The fa cup is soooo 1979.
Wouldn't give a toss if we didn't even enter it.

Is the second of "2 easy games" getting the pork "in the quarters" ?!?!

Just goes to show the higher you get up the League ladder the lower the priority of the 3rd and 4th rounds become. The big four Premiership teams started this by playing reserve teams or in the case of Man U not entering the competition (I'd have banned them for at least 5 years). Now everyone does it so unless you are league one or two there is very little interest in paying to see what will be a reserve or under 23 game. 5th round and last 16 now this is when clubs take it serious and from a fans perspective when it gets interesting pull any decent opposition and the grounds will be full rather than the half empty libraries of the previous two rounds. It could even be an easy route to a semi-final for any team for a team getting the luck of the draw. No doubt about it all the London hotels will already be fully booked with pig fans like they were in 2014 that worked out well for them didn't it
