3rd round day, and semi-final day (in so far as we have single days for these anymore) are two of the best, er, “Saturdays” of every season. 4th round day ? It’s fine by me.

Before the endless propaganda about the Prem, and promotion to or towards it (ie, pre-Sky), pretty much everyone else got excited about the Cup too. Please be guilt-free in your excitement, Northyorksblade, and may you stay out of A&E henceforth.

Yes you are. Today isn't the most glamourous of fixtures but it's still the FA Cup, at home 3pm Saturday when football should be played. Plus for me (like all matchdays) it's quality time with my young un away from the stress of the working week.

I am with you on this one, I love the Cup. My biggest wish in life is to watch the mighty Blades walk out at Wembley in the Cup Final.

I felt physically sick at half time against Hull City because it was within touching distance!
