I was in the South Stand and thought I heard "Town full of" but not the last part. If it was "Pakis" or "ISIS" then I'd be appropriately disappointed, but it has to be said that it would be my first experience of racist chanting at the Lane.

You not at the Fenerbache game pre season last year or at almost any Bradford game for many, many years before that? I have been and I have heard it every time I was there. But that would be me waiting to be offended on someone elses behlaf according to some.

By the way, if it is just a few doesn't make it any better.

Not that I know of but I would suggest he has hearing the equivalent of an Owl, when most people on the kop couldn't make out what was chanted let alone those half way across the south stand
Family stand so same side it was coming from.

Really, but not the wankers who started the chant (ISIS, Paki, whatever it may be)? You have a strange and rather disturbing view on things in my opinion.
Disturbing? LOL. The chant was about ISIS -no use of the word Paki. It lasted about 15 seconds and was drowned out quickly by Blades. It was stupid but not racist. The guy who made the complaint has said he was not sure what was sung yet still made a complaint. Bonkers.

They didn't refer to Pakistanis, no. But the point they were making was that the large Pakistani population of Bradford were linked to ISIS.

It was probably a very small minority of young uns thinking it was funny. I think a lot of people take things far to seriously and love to jump on the racism train.

I have seen a lot of videos recently of racism from all different races and believe me shouting a few silly words is nothing compared to the horrors of real racist hatred.

call out the idiots for sure but we shouldn't make a big deal of silliness.

Some of the Asian community in Bradford have been linked to ISIS. It has been widely reported in the media. A very small minority though of course.

A large number of football chants up and down the country are offensive. They are generally designed to wind up opposition fans. We could debate it forever but I don't think the ISIS chant was racist. And I have heard far worse from fans of many teams with none of the reaction this is generating.

Once again our club is being dragged through the mud unnecessarily. I am fairly sure the club will get a warning at worst and that no fans will be banned. But in the meantime we have given all those who don't like us an opportunity to misrepresent the facts and have a go.

The 'Racism Train' has to be one of the worst thought out ideas tested by Northern Rail in recent years.

A couple of people from Sheffield were arrested for the same offence, do you think we'll get that chant aimed at us too?

Or do you think the demographic of Bradford has something to do with it?

A Millers fan I know says that a common chant from the opposition is, "Town full of Paedos" this season. Where's the furore from The Star or Radio Sheffield about that?

Oh I don't disagree that the bloke saying it and then saying he didn't know what they were singing must be a grade a clown. I would however put that crime way to the back of a list of things I have personally heard sung from the back of the Kop not just to Bradford fans but others as well. I have been sat amongst it, I once went toe to toe with two people on the Kop over it, so I know it has gone off.

What I would say is that we as a club are getting better and the idiots fewer, and this should always be what we strive to do, but lets not pretend whether someone says Paki (as they always used to) or remixed things to say ISIS that it is any less offensive to the people it is aimed at. We can argue forever whether it is racist or not without agreeing, but if I heard it I wouldn't be offended on someones behalf, I would be disappointed that someone from the same club I support thinks this acceptable. I can't change them or that point but I can get them ejected from the ground, never to be seen again, which I would do.

It seems there are a few who want to steer clear of grasping the nettle and calling this behaviour out and call it Banter, or "we do it to all clubs to wind them up". In this day and age it is unacceptable. We don't live in 1973 any longer and thank fuck most people have evolved.
