This was so predictably going to happen (hoping it hasn't).
So in summary, we've loaned 2 players we've tried to get in for a number of years, an out of favour GK (even if an international) and some young boy from wolves. And all of the potentially exciting game changing players we were linked to, we've 'failed to get over the line due to unforeseen circumstances but we did try' (which I read as, we'll let it out we are after these players but have no intention/chance of getting them and come up with an excuse near/slightly after the deadline). Leaving the 35 year old Algerian left. Am I being harsh? Cynical? Too simplistic? Possibly, if I hadn't seen it happen so many times in the past. Add to this we haven't been able to offload any of the deadwood and I just despair.

It’s about being able to adapt and change shape if required. We now don’t have that ability. MGW can play out wide, as can a couple of the strikers.
