I think one of his researchers looks on message boards of PL clubs trying to find things that trigger fans. Our friend Durham is now touting for Wilder to take over at Everton. Not only that, but to take John Egan with him. Not bad for a club who weren't 'taking the premier League seriously' a few months ago.
Does it go silent upside downTotally. Under his cuntish exterior there's a decent presenter. I turn the radio over when he's on midweek, but on a Saturday he does a very good Jeff Stelling impersonation...
We're OK though, there'd be shoes off at Goodison if this was to happen.I think one of his researchers looks on message boards of PL clubs trying to find things that trigger fans.

They don't want dinosaur Pulis replicator Wilder at the helm.....and I for one am glad of that.
But considering how terrible they've been considering the cash they've spent...playing dull football in the process with supposed world class coaches, you think they'd be chomping at the bit.

Doesn't have too much a thick skin, when people call to disagree, he generally calls them uneducated and stupid and cuts them off.Durham isn’t as controversial as he lets on. The producers basically pay him to rile up supporters on social media to drive traffic and calls. He also has thick skin to do what he does.
I try to look at it from Wilder’s perspective ie if it were me, a massive Blade in charge of the club I love.
I’m getting paid a decent wedge, comparable with other Premier League managers but not at the top end and most likely in the bottom third. But my money’s only going to go up.
I’m at the club I love and my ambitions for it don’t end at staying up. I want to make us top club that wins things. I want to build something.
I’m at a club that has the potential to grow, the fanbase is there already.
I go to another club and start from scratch with a fanbase who unless I immediately turn things around will be on my back.
What‘s to gain by moving apart from a short term monetary increase, better off staying here, it’s always been my dream.
Yes he has thick skin and a thick “Dingle” usually sat at the side of him.Durham isn’t as controversial as he lets on. The producers basically pay him to rile up supporters on social media to drive traffic and calls. He also has thick skin to do what he does.

Absolutely mate... he’s on a decent bonus when we stay up to set him up for life..I try to look at it from Wilder’s perspective ie if it were me, a massive Blade in charge of the club I love.

but to me it won’t work...imagine him giving Pogba a round of fucks for having a lazy match? He’d spit his dummy out and be straight to the chairman’s office.
One of the best things Dave Whelan did when Paul Jewell had taken over as manager at Wigan and the players had played like twats was that he stormed into the dressing room, tore a strip off the players, told them to sort themselves out and play for the manager because if they don’t they are out.. Jewell isn’t going anywhere..
Wilder, quite rightly, would expect that dressing room control.
we can be the next Nottingham Forest/clough era
unless the England job gets offered![]()
Exactly. Football fans can be like needy children these days. Every other call to Talksport is from a fan of one club or another crying about not getting the credit they deserve. What the fuck does that actually mean anyway?? Who gives a shit? The irony of all of this is that we complain that we aren’t getting the recognition that we crave from the press. We then get it and we try and convince the world that they are going mad and we are Pulis-esque?
Wilder doesn’t live in a vacuum, in fact he often refers to ‘his pals’ - Blades. He won’t leave unless he can look them in the face, say ‘I had to’ and they believe him. He’ll only leave if he has a very big bust up with PA (he’s dealt with plenty of chairman and owners in the past and managed very difficult situations), if he genuinely feels he can’t take us any further or if he gets a ridiculous job offer like a big six club or the England job.
He’s certainly not the fragile mard arse some people seem to believe he is, who’s going to walk out over normal football disagreements or because the owner won’t let him spend £250m on new players.

only places I’d see him going would be the north London clubs, Chelsea, either Manchester Clubs or Liverpool.
obviously once Klopp and Guardiola have long gone and the fans get restless with the next manager..

nah it's because Cody and JoC are from unfashionable outfits. they'd rather pick Erik fucking DierVery complimentary about us last night on the section where they were discussing the England squad selection.
Said that he could definitely see the argument for JOC being included and thought Hendo should have been included. Also said that if Egan was English he'd be an absolute shoe in as "he's an absolute colossus".
Quite rightly mentioned that the selection could well be down to the formation GS wants to play with JOC currently in a 3 and that not being his preferred formation at present and also most likely reason why Coady hasn't had a look in yet.
