So you justify your argument by saying the 'pressure of public opinion' brought about the removal of a manager whoI could not disagree more SCB. I do not need to list, for someone of your obvious intelligence, history's countless examples of changes brought about by the pressure of public opinion. At the parochial level of SUFC, look no further back than the departure of the former non-league, semi-pro, reserve goalie.

Must admit that whilst not being a fan of Blackwell, maybe he did have his hands tied by the powers that be with regards to squad strengthening and re-building. OK he may have been a yes man, but maybe that comes with constantly banging your head against a brick wall.

- in his first(half season) saved us from a relegation fight and nearly got us to the play offs
- In his second season got us to the play offs
-in his third season just missing out on the play offs
All this whilst having to sell the better players to reduce the debt and having to reduce the wage bill by over 50%.
His win per game %tage was also higher than many of his more esteemed peers.
