It's ridiculous to compare two wrongs and I'm guessing Johnson will get the book thrown at him. Pre-mediated grooming. ffs.
 
What tthe hell is this thread doing on here,thought we would have had enough with the Evans affair .We will not sign him in a month of Sundays .He may even get jail for the offences he's admitted to and for sure if guilty of the others will be sent down.put this one to bed please it's nauseous.

That is shocking. Also, it is absolutely crazy that someone (anyone!) can make an accusation like that, and remain anonymous while the completely innocent guy is named all over the news, and whenever anyone types his name into a search engine this will be first thing they see. Totally bonkers!

It's a crazy stupid law anyway, anyone not in the UK can name her (and they have).

Completely agree with that.

Just as daft is the law that it's ok to have sex with a 16 year old but if you ask them to send you a naked picture it's illegal, just can't get my head round that one:eek: Either make them both 16 or both 18 (I'd much prefer 18 as it seems lined up with voting, pubs and being classed as an adult, this might also be something to do with my daughter being 16 in April:tumbleweed:)

Johnson and his partner have a child together. If she dumped him she would get a large part of his wealth. Given that and given that his wealth potential in future has plummeted to virtually zero (and conscious that this does not accord with the default cynicism that is de rigeur on this board), I think she is actually acting from noble motives.

Yeah but worth hedging her bets until the verdict. Then if he's found guilty, she can kick him into touch. Thus loyally standing by him, before understandably ending the relationship, getting her wedge and going on loose women, good morning etc etc

It's a win win ;)
