Neither of those starting midfield two has the confidence to stick their foot on the ball. Wait. Bring others into play, or turn and do a man to open up the game. There's a whole host of issues going on. Confidence. Fitness. Even midfield rotation (see fitness) plus a chronic lack of competition for places where team members are consistently poor.

Disagree, looks like you've gone off reputation rather than performance on the night.

Tom Davies came on and put in his worst performance in a Blades shirt (in the championship at least), whereas Cannon played fairly well.

You just cannot legislate for a player as bad as Adam Davies. Simple as that. The young 3rd choice cannot be that bad.

Add a new goalkeeper to the January 'must haves' as priority number 1. If Cooper gets injured again, we lose. Lose enough and we go down. Simple.

Brooks doesn't offer enough. Seriki does. When O'Hare ran into the box with the ball Brooks passed it to their keeper. Seems indecisive, doesn't know when to pass and when to go for the line and cross. Cannon created a couple of chances. Didn't get much of a look in but I thought he did alright. Ings doesn't offer anything. Defence needs sorting first. Play Tanganga in his preferred position at centre back along with another centre back not sure which one. Playing Mee, Tanganga and McGuiness is a mistake and is costing us. Let Ogbene go back. Looks a poor player. Disappointing as I thought he might do well.

Totally agree about Tanganga needing to be in the middle. Its getting to the stage with the rest of them youd think about chucking a couple of kids in (like last xmas when we were on our arse numbers wise). At least they'd give it a right go. Well...you'd hope.

Pretty much everyone after their legs went at around that point. Davies will never be good enough to play in goal

No, but we need to have four subs coming on no later than 60 minutes. Every match. For multiple game weeks I'd do it at half time. If you can't run you can't compete in professional football.

Ogbene has suprised me in not a good way.

He seems like a sound guy. So I'm not going to go in personal on him. But I'm still waiting for a good attacking display from him.

He seems to make the wrong choice 80% of the time. Wrong pass, wrong run, wrong direction to run in, misread the play and positioning defensively sometimes is just odd.

Strange because he seemingly did well before at other clubs.

He's not been our worst player but I'd really like to see someone come in. Seriki if he's earnt his way back into the squad. That would make sense logically.

He had two opportunities towards the end of the first half to get the ball into the box, he dillied and dallied and wasted the opportunity.
He does not move off the ball, to create space for him or anyone else.
His pressing is a token gesture

Cannon was better than him tonight and for the first time, with a little confidence looked as though he may offer something, a long way to go but for the first time seems to understand his job.

Campbell can sometimes finish, but beyond that he is far far away from a decent striker,
