Is the one thing which prevents us from being in the top 6. Yes, we have weaklinks in different position, but I believe the addition of one quality striker to play alongside miller would get us up. King and Taylor evidently don't/can't score the goals we need. Is Maguire top scorer now?

After posting I realised what a negative t*** I must sound like. I still stand by that, but fvck it, I'm off to papa johns!

You're a Blade, it's normal.

Personally I'm not bothered who gets the goals as long as we keep winning. The strikers will start getting goals as confidence builds and we go on a run.

And I thought Taylor was just about our best man today. Oh well, what do I know.

Best game today for King looked like he wanted to play.

I was willing Taylor to score thought he deserved it he really put himself about.

And you may be right, but we've scored 3 and neither striker has scored again. Strikers are there to score goals, and it worries me that our strikers have only 3 goals between them all season.

spreading the goals about gets you in the play offs , our strikers will wade in in the coming weeks as the belief grows, Taylor was decent today , and King was a thousand times better , still not goood enough , but better

My view of strikers is that you won't score any goals at all if they're not putting pressure on the opposition. The fact that we've scored goals, created chances, won corners etc. suggests to me that they're a least doing the basic things right.

I thought that Taylor played really well today and was denied by a decent save in the first half. King also had a good first half, even managing to win the ball in the air and hold it up. He is woefully slow though. Unfortunately for Miller, by the time he came on we had run out of steam or were told to sit back and defend deep and he didn't see much of the ball.
I thinks that we could do with one more quality addition up front then use king as back up.

There's something in Lyle Taylor. He needs to work on the parts of his game that is between the ears. When and where to move and his decision making but there's a decent striker in there.

He played well again today.

Whatever happened to Murphy being able to play up front?
Did i dream that? He certainly played up front for me on football manager!
