Nope not a single one any youth player in the 23’s who can kick a ball has run for the hills. Young players they’ve picked up from elsewhere have signed one year deals so they’ll play for the exposure this year then leave for free in the summer. Cadamarteri jnr might be worth a look he’s scored plenty of goals for their 16’s and his dad works for us but we’re very well stocked for young strikers.

Wendy have no other option but to “improve” their squad on the basis they don’t currently have one. Free agents are free agents for a reason as are young loanees - minefield, you might just stumble upon a diamond.

We need 2 decent centre backs and 1 midfielder. Let’s be patient, the core is good enough...for now. At least that’s what I was told when we beat Bristol via a VAR penalty in the FA Cup.

of course i would love a Centre back but genuinely, if we didnt sign a player it wouldn't worry me. of course on the proviso that we dont sell anyone of course. because i dont think we can sign anyone realistically that will improve the squad. the 11 we put out on 8th should be good enough, i would say 6th would be underwhelming now
