As it stands we’ve lost jags, Bryan, ampadu and lunny from a squad which looked a bit threadbare at times last year. Each of those needs replacing like for like before the window closes in addition to any luxury creative players that lots of us would like to see. Maybe slater steps up to replace lunny but that’s hard to gauge right now.

Agreed. Keep Rammers and Berge then we need someone who can play RCM (maybe Slater?! or another youngster) + a LCB (this is imperative!)

Completely depends on how Slav is actually going to line up although it seems like 3 centre halves does seem likely.
So it's either 3-4-3 of sorts or 3-5-2 of sorts.

Any of the striking selection but probably McGoldrick and 2 others.

Now the thing is Slav might do something else, he may want to play two DCMs (Unlikely) he may ditch the above and go for 4 at the back.

But based on the 1 game and the noises so far I'd say that LCB is now v.light. Ben Davies from Liverpool makes alot of sense.
Depending on Berge, midfield doesn't feel too bad to me, but again depends on how everyone slots in.
We have to also bear in mind potentially Slater, and youngsters that may come into the fold.

Squad feels on paper pretty strong, I don't feel like we need many at all but football's never played on paper.

It depends really. He’s always said that the Brewster signing was done in the knowledge that there would be less to spend in January and probably this summer window. The fact we’ve now dropped a division as well probably hasn’t helped that situation.
