Egan has been fantastic, but it's great to still have Stearman available, as others have said he's a model pro - great game for him (and Cranie) to step up tonight and prove their value to the squad.

I even called the goal - much to the amusement to those around me! Although I did actually predict a Stearman overhead kick!!

Both Stearman and Cranie are very good players.

Can't understand the negative comments that Cranie especially has had on here, by some. He's a very solid championship defender who I think would get better and better with game time. Problem for Cranie and Stearman is how do you drop Bash or O'Connell? These lads clearly have a fantastic attitude and are a credit to both themselves and the club.

By the way, wasn't it just fantastic to see Utd win a game with a defender scoring a set piece. About bloody time

Hard to tell how well it would do against a team that actually plays football. But did brilliantly tonight, no doubt.

If I was a Boro player I’d just not enjoy going to work. Can’t be any fun playing that way.

He will still play second fiddle to Egan, it's just football but he will give it everything when called upon.

Got to say, although I see the game against wendy as one of many, the way Wilder has recruited, the way we're going about the business of staying close to the top two positions, I hope Bruce's dour approach to ensuring they regard a draw as something worthy, it may well be the best three points we gain this season, and at their ground too. I'm not jumping the gun, we'll have to fight and scrap as we know we're capable, but with our current mindset we can give any team in this division a run for their money.

Has Cranie had negatives ? I haven't noticed , if so they are undeserved ,he and Madine have played well everytime they've played.
