Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but I think we may have fell lucky with the timing of this fixture...

Norwich have seen 3 players leave the club this window already:
Yanic Wildschut to Cardiff
Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield
Russell Martin to Rangers

Add to this a fee has been agreed to sell Cameron Jerome to Derby, this will likely be concluded by the weekend. Also Spurs and Liverpool are being linked with the highly rated James Maddison - depending on the progress of this he may well either be sold or out of the squad with Beattie flu (can’t see him getting Maguire sunstroke in this weather!)

We on the other hand have signed 4, all of which I would expect to atleast be in the squad.

This could be an important factor in determining who comes out on top. Of course it all comes down to the 22 on the pitch but let’s hope the departures have a negative impact on them and our new arrivals can give us a much needed shot in the arm!

Prediction? Narrow 1-0 win for the Blades

Couldn't ask for a better time to play them. They're hardly going to play their reserves at Chelsea tomorrow night. They've sold good players. And we'll be desperate to beat them. I fancy us to win, hopefully we will and it'll be the start of another good run.
A good thrashing by Chelsea and a couple of injuries is what is needed. Their manager said last weekend he had a thin squad with the departures so a little more thinning out to the treatment table would be well deserved for their dreadful time wasting approach to the game at BDTBL earlier in the season. We owe them one so lets hope the new signings give us the boost we need

We've won one in ten and are in relegation form ourselves so Norwich will be thinking this is a good time to play us.
Can't remember Carrot Road being a happy hunting ground apart from the new man at the head of escape committee (which didn't escape) scoring the winner way back when.
Tough game.

Need to beat them, they are not all that good, and let’s now be honest one win in 11 is just not good enough however well we started the season.

Time to get the new signings integrated and kick on again.

They have possibly just picked up a like-for-like replacement for Pritchard in Marcus Edwards on loan from Spurs. Hopefully our array of midfield options will be the defining story Saturday though.

Not that he doesn’t anyway, but Wilder will have us fired up for this one, following the shenanigans of the home fixture. 2-1 Blades

In answer to the OP question, yes, it couldn’t be a better time.

3-0 Blades. All three goals come from shots rebounding off the post, hitting that twat Gunn on the back of his big time wasting head and ending up in the back of the net.

I hope we are utter shitheads all game, fall over at every touch, time waste for 80 minutes and scrape a 1-0.

We need to find form. The sooner the new signings bed in, the better. Our dip coincides entirely with the loss of momentum after losing Coutts. But as Wilder has said several times lately, we have to stay true to our style, we play good football and have a good shape, the solidarity and the goals just need to come now.

Oh, and I'd fucking love to dick on that set of twats.

Talking to a Norwich fan earlier in the pub reckons its a good time to be playing them, not only have they sold some players but reckons they will be playing there first team against Chelsea and, importantly they do not gave a big squad, when told how we go about playing he really didn't fancy it

I hope it takes time for him to settle in as he's highly rated.

We're good enough to win, irrespective of the changes that go in our favour. However, let's remember that this was the case last Friday and against Bolton.

Blades 2

Anti football cynical play acting time wasting cheating twats with a cunt of of a keeper & bell end of a manager city

We could really do with 3 points on Sat (no shit).

Looking at the table, if other results go against us we could drop 5 places to 11th. I still believe we can finish in the play offs but we need to get over this slump asap and get the new signings integrated into the squad.

1-2 Blades win.

Of the players they've sold only Pritchard was a regular player so I wouldn't pay too much attention to their transfer dealings.

We could do with them going through the full 120 minutes + pens tonight and preferably a defeat. If we score early their fans will turn very quickly as usual so hopefully an early goal will be part of the CW masterplan.

Looking forward to this one and think we will probably see starts for a few of the new lads as well.

Signing Marcus Edwards isnt so great for us, a very good player.

Him and Maddison in the same side is not a prospect I look forward to, hopefully they sell Maddison before then.

i was thinking the same thing I hope that the Chelsea game goes like the previous 3 v Norwich, arsenal & leicester is boring 0-0, goes the full 120mins, but ive heard rumours the kick off been moved from 3pm to 11:30am, as with all the next level time wasting from norwich its the only way the match will finish before 5pm

Whilst I understand the satisfaction that some would take from a niggling time wasting 1-0 win, I'd rather we played them off the park and won 3-0 to show them that you can win football matches in the right way - and because it would be better to watch!
