A clear improvement noted

I've been very vocal in the last few weeks about what I perceive to be poor managerial performance.

But as happens so often on this forum, when you speak on certain subjects your are then pigeon holed.

It is possible to;

• Love Chris Wilder and respect him for what he's achieved with us
• Have issues with his team selections
• Have issues with his tactical decisions
• Be happy when we win and acknowledge aspects of our improving performance
• Criticise recruitment
• Support the players
• Believe that we can be so much better in every aspect

None of these are mutually exclusive.

It’s quite possible to criticise aspects of job and performance without lurching towards insisting someone be down the job centre too.

That not to say the Manager shouldn’t hear the criticism and if he’s smart he’ll take some of it onboard.

I’m not bothered about being right, I’d rather we just win.

I think the squad isn’t correctly assembled and think we should play 4-3-3.

But Chris can say with 4-4-2 I have 2 for each position. He then has an extra extra right back and left back, and he’s needed both (Shackleton and RND) and a left sided DM and a right sided DM who can do a job in defence. He’s not used Jairo as much but he has Hamza. That will be his argument I suppose.

I still think we have too many defensive players and arguably too many players but I suppose if some are freebies and risks you need a few more when they don’t come off!
