Looks like we have a tiny bit of catch up to play now but at least we are doing it at home.

Looking at the remaining fixtures we are the only team in the top 10 who has a 6-3 split of home vs away. I.e. everyone else has spent their home advantage to more of an extent than us. Bournemouth have by far the hardest remaining fixtures so perhaps the top is about to even itself out a little?

Bournemouth - 5 Home (avg pos 8.8) 6 Away (avg pos 9)
Huddersfield - 5 Home (avg pos 10.6) 3 Away (avg pos 12.3)
Blackburn - 3 Home (avg pos 10.3) 5 Away (avg pos 18)
Luton - 4 Home (avg pos 13.5) 5 Away (avg pos 12.8)
QPR - 4 Home (avg pos 14.25) 5 Away (avg pos 11.4)
Boro - 5 Home (avg pos 11.2) 4 Away (avg pos 13.75)
Forest - 4 Home (avg pos 14.5) 6 Away (avg pos 10.6)
United 6 Home (avg pos 11.5) 3 Away (avg pos 13.3)
Millwall 4 Home (avg pos 20) 5 Away (avg pos 11.4)

Food for thought anyway.

Yes - good post

The teams I thought would fall away - hudds and Luton - are doing great . Millwall are a threat but are prob due a blip - cov too erratic - qpr ,win some lose some - same for Blackburn - well ,all of em

Prediction for playoffs:

Hudds
Midds
Forest
Utd
A Sheffield team is probably due knocking Huddersfield out of the play offs!

I'm not saying it's us but someone can really put the shits up Bournemouth if they put a bit of a run together. Our home form under Hecky has been excellent with only Forest taking a draw from us in a game where we were already depleted and reliant on untried youngsters.

As we all know too well - getting to the playoffs hasn't been that much of a problem - as for the rest .....exciting times ahead though , will be very much touch and go for all of the contenders - highs and lows - top 6 then 9th/10th at a stroke. See off Barnsley (which will be no easy matter at all), try to get some players back and certainly rested over the International break and go again for one final push where we all have to be united . As lewisham says , thank goodness 6 are at home - even if we are not always on it we have so much more chance of picking up points at BL against what i think anyway are quite poor teams (its a poor league compared to recent years).

Think we will sneak in as i have posted above but there will be meltdowns along the way .

Hate international breaks but thank f for this one

Bristol C - 1

Fulham - 1

72 points.
Probably fall just short with that lot.

1. Fulham 77 + 12 = 89
2. Bournemouth 66 + 15 = 81
------------------------------------------------
3. Huddersfield 63 + 15 = 78
4. United 58 + 18 = 76
5. Boro 59 + 15 = 74
6. Luton 60 + 12 = 72
------------------------------------------------
7. QPR 59 + 12 = 71
8. Forest 58 + 12 = 70
9. Blackburn 61 + 9 = 70
10.Millwall 57 + 12 = 69

Would be us vs Boro over 2 legs playing winner of Hudds vs Luton. That would be overemotionally draining!

Hull

yes i still fancy us, it was all about just getting to the international break. because i was hearing from jack lester that 5 of our 11 players out will be back for stoke

Quick visualisation of the fixtures.

Bournemouth, QPR and Coventry have ridiculously hard run-ins. Huddersfield and Middlesbrough, too

Looking at them, Millwall stand a great chance!

Update on previous few games. I've dropped Blackpool off as they're now 14th and 10pts off play offs

Could do with WBA, Coventry and Fulham wins tonight.

Wouldn’t write Blackburn off just yet looking at that. Could easily see them picking up 7+ points from their next 3 games and putting themselves right back in it.
