What a great night it was! Hopefully we'll have a similar result against them on Sunday.

Drove at stupid speeds back from our win at Southampton to queue up for tickets for the game at Blackburn. Already queuing on our arrive at the Lane !! Got tickets.30 years Wow.
Remember going to the game at Ewood and the replay at the Lane. People queued out all night for tickets to Ewood. I bought one off a lad on John St West for double the face value. Great day at Ewood. I thought it would just be our woolly hat brigade but when we got in the ground it was full of our pissed up nutters. We celebrated the draw like a win because we knew we could beat them at home.
Brilliant night at the Lane for the replay on John Street terrace. The next game...the less said the better.

Nearly is nowCan't believe Alan Cork was 34 in that match. He looks about 70!
Just look at the scenes on the Kop at the end. Everyone still there well after the finish all stood singing going crazy. That was an atmosphere that night with the three sides of the ground going full at it. If only we could have that kind of passion again these days.
Mitch Ward hat-trick with his penalty too. Great memories.
Hope he got a ticket for Wembley.

Can I be pedantic and say you won't have attended the lockdown home cup games?![]()
30 years!
Demand for tickets for the initial game at Ewood was so great they decided to show the game live on a giant screen set up on the pitch at BDTBL.
What a great night it was! Hopefully we'll have a similar result against them on Sunday.
