I aint sure I will be able to afford it next season although if we keep playing like we did last night then I'm not going to be in hurry to save the cash for next season.

Me too. Either way i wont be getting one. Unless i come into some money :p.

How many out of 20,000 will, a) want to buy a season ticket next season, due to watching awful football, and b) a lot of people wont be able to afford it anyway.

I think that the main element of this will be the second part of the statement. This is obviously all dependant on the cost of renewals. but lets face it there are a number of fans that will renew the ticket no matter what

I'll be one of them.

I've never purchased my ticket on the back of expectation of success, how we play, who's at the club...

Nor have I ever sensibly looked at whether or not I can afford a season ticket.

For me, its a necessity, whatever I have to do to enable me to have one... I do.

Whether that's going without many other things people take for granted, becoming indebted.... I'll find a way.

Oh yeah of course. Worst case scenario, i think we'll still get at least 12,000 season ticket holders.

Fair enough to people who will buy them no matter what. But at this moment in time id rather fund my education, then go to all the United home games.

Thank you Foxy. Being a Blade isn't about watching the next Premier League Champions, or the next winners of the Champion's League. It's not about trips to Wembley, and thrashing teams week-in and week-out.
If you expect that then you are faced with two choices. Either a sudden and harsh drop back to reality, or a ticket at Old Trafford.

I'll still go wherever we play regardless of how good or bad we are. United are my team, and I've always said I'll support them through thick & thin.

Whether we're top of the Premier or bottom of Division 3, I'll be there.

Been there done it!

I don't suppose I'll change now.

:)

I don't get to go often, in fact my last game was Wolves away on Boxing Day - what a difference in performances!!!

We were shocking last night, just awful. It was like watching a poor Sunday league team attempt to kick the ball around. Rovers were hundred times better, but I didn't think they were sparkling.

What the hell happened between Howard & Monty?! Talk to each other, call for the ball!!! The whole ground hears Morgan's MMMMOOOOOORRRRGGGGGGZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ so why can't them two call for the bloody ball?!

I won't be there on Saturday, next game for me is Pig Saturday (hmmm, funnily managed the day off that day.. how'd that happen?) There needs to be some rockets up arses before Saturday.. you don't get to 4th in table (or 5th as we are now) on a performance like that, but to those who are booing, we're currently 5th, in a play off spot, with a fantastic goal difference to those currently below us. We're not in the bottom half, we're in the play offs, remember that!!

Saturday is a huge game, that has to be won, no excuses, and the majority of that team need to pull their socks up before then.

It was poor! Very poor, indeed! Mind you, I've seen worse from the Blades, even at the Lane!

Like it or not, it seems the manager wants to play direct! Reminded of some of the matches under Bassett in the early days, we appear clueless and lacking ability when plan A is failing. Difference this time around is that Blackwell has considerably more resources available than Harry ever did. You always got the impression that it was a case of necessity under Bassett, players weren't good enough to play any other way.

People are commenting about how much better Donny were, didn't think that was the case, just that Blackwell got out-thought tactically, which was a bit of a worry. Heard him after the game, and either the players didn't take a blind bit of notice about how he wanted them to play or he was being 'economical with the truth'. Might just be the inevitable blip when you are on a good run, or it might be that Blackwell has been tactically rumbled. Time will tell!
