A lovely trip to the Liberty Stadium... or as the locals say, the Stadiwm Liberty.

I fancy us to win this game.

We should be strong enough to see them off, providing we don't play as badly as we did last year!

Its on the 26th aint it? :)

We should win this game but its never that simple with us.

I hope that Blackwell plays 4-4-2 (same team as vs Pigs but with Killa and Cotts replacing Davies and Ward). I think, similarly to Reading, that Swansea are not a patch on the team they were last year and that if we go out and attack them then we can win this one comfortably. KB doesn't like playing Cotts away from home and last Friday his ball retention wasn't great, so we may see the 4-5-1 (or 4-3-3 with Treacy one side and Evans the other!?).

Last year was so awful. We did absolutely naff all and then morgan chipped the keeper:D

I reckon we'll win.

They had a better team and better manager last season. We have a(n arguably) better team this year. I'll be disappointed if we don't take 3 points.

I think we can't really afford not to pick up 3 points at swansea if we want a good chance of promotion. If the defence is organised we should be fine.

Yeah 3 points should be in the bag for this one, Swansea aren't doing very well this season.

Its these sort of games like Derby and Cov that we should be winning if we want promotion.

Travel news:

Any supporters traveling by train to Saturday's fixture at Swansea are advised that there is no rail service between Cardiff and Swansea for the duration of the weekend.

Replacement bus services are available, and places still remain on the Away Blade coaches.

Also, the weather forecast is for fog all across south Wales tomorrow according to the BBC, so this may affect your journey times if you're driving.

Yeah and we were down to 10 thanks to the leg end Hendo getting himself sent off.

Credit given to any blades fans hardcore enough to travel to Swansea for this one. I don't think this will be an atrractive game from our side of things. Long ball hopes and prayers and a dodgy refereeing situation resulting in a disappointing 1-0 defeat...

Ahhhh I can't wait to get up at 6 tomorrow, not had a really long trip like this yet this season.

Still fancying a 1-0 win

Pfft, we've been here since 9.30pm last night :D

Were the only English in a Welsh village pub and managed to find a random Chinese with the nicest crispy beef I've ever had! :D

PS - There's no fog yet :)

Where you looked at funny??

When I visted a Welsh village with a welsh friend and a couple of other lads, we were scowled at quite alot for the first night by the second and third nobody cared and were quite friendly.

1-0 win will do fine for me but hopefully we may grab a couple.

Blackie's reaction to the match

Blackie's Swans reaction

Boss Kevin Blackwell was dismayed with the result at Swansea's Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

United suffered a second consecutive away defeat after Thomas Butler's late strike gave the Swans a 2-1 victory.

Blackwell said afterwards: "I'm not complaining about the performance because we dominated most of the game. But if you give goals away like we did, you won't win games.

"We started strongly, with a string of corners and after they had a 25-minute spell we were on top again going into the break.

"We are so comfortable playing away from home now that we were like the home side and then they get two goals from breakaways. We probably thought that it would just happen for us but we go back with nothing in our pocket and a lesson learned.

"When you are on top you have to kill teams off and hurt people with deliveries, which we didn't do.

"We were aware that they hadn't done very well recently and there would be frustration in the crowd but credit to Swansea, they battled for their lives, which is frustrating because Mark Bunn has picked the ball out of the net twice and virtually had nothing else to do."

Change the opposition and he says the same thing after every defeat I am getting just a little frustrated by this. If it's always the same then FIX IT that's what he, and his coaching staff, are paid to do.

We were, but to be fair, i'm just in from the same boozer tonight and spent most of the night chatting to a skinhead Cardiff fan who invited us in to Bridgend with him and the lads.

He hated Wednesday, went to Hillsborough last year and said its big, but a crumbling shithole full of "wankers".

To say a lot of the Welsh hate English and we are in a small ex-mining village that is classed as a rough area, he was spot on.

He keeps his speeches written on the back of his hands.

4-5-1 was a mistake yesterday.

I'm all for the 4-5-1 away from home against good sides, but when we're playing a lower mid-table side who haven't won at home all season, have struggled for goals and have endless amounts of injuries, meaning a centre half in midfield, why aren't we going for it?

If we are going to play 4-5-1, let's not play Ched Evans as a midfielder, and Quinn on the left. If you're playing 4-5-1 you need quick wingers, which Quinn isn't.

The service to the front man was poor yesterday, partly because we only had one man in the middle of the box, and partly because the crosses were coming in from far too deep the majority of the time and because we had very little pace on the pitch we couldn't get in behind them. We were crying out for Reid on the left wing after Treacy got injured, but he only came on with 5 minutes left.

Blackwell made alot of mistakes tactically yesterday for me, and he needs to learn from them and put them right. At least 4 points out of the next 2 home games is important for us.

How can Blackwell have the cheek to say "we need to kill teams off" and then start with a 4-5-1 with our £3million pound striker ON THE FUCKING BENCH!!!!!!

Truly a fucking idiot!

Yeah that end up being the same for us at the end of the weekend down there.
