Kit looks great too - and an added bonus that you can barely make out the sponsor. I anticipate a midseason request from Westfield to change the kit - think it happened with the Visit Malta logo in the first season.
While the views on the pitch and kit are great, did anyone actually have any views on how the team played, and who stood out? Were the trialists any good for example?

Typical Donny - tip tap tip tap, going nowhere ... SO'D needed telling that there wasn't a point available.
United tried to pass the ball and at times it seemed to work but at others - particularly second half - it seemed like we were going absolutely nowhere.
Donny's goal was a speculative hit from 25 yards, might have been swerving around, that beat Simonsen in the middle of his goal. My guess is that a competent goalkeeper would have tipped it over the bar, a good keeper would have caught it. We have neither. Only real shot that Donny had on target and they scored. Typical of last season and Simmo really. We desperately need a goalkeeper.
United were average to poor for the majority. Never really looked like they could score but did have the better 'chances' if you can call them that. Porter came on second half, had two great chances and fluffed both of them completely. Bogdanovic did sod all except for a couple of flicks and a decent free kick. Collins kept hitting the stands with every clearance. Slew - as most people say - still has an awful lot to learn. Most impressive player was probably the new defender, JFL, who looked strong and decent going forward. Flynn put in some good free kicks and corners first half and then faded out. Quinn chested a throw in back to the taker as usual but was poor for the most of his second half appearance.
Triallists wise, Kruk looked OK ish but was caught out a couple of times at LB second half. McDonald is OK when he has time to play the passes but looks like he doesn't like getting stuck in to me. Turner didn't feature and neither did Long.
A largely forgettable evening.

Wasn't a proper game of football ,Donny must have used over 2 teams of players. Minus for us , Simmonsen let another soft one in ,all be it a very good shot from Donnys umpa lumpa who was the best players on the pitch. Doyle ,Montgomery and Quinn ,no change from las season. Slew ,I can't see what he has ,I thought Henderson carried him last season and thought he looked poor tonight. Plus for us ,Maguire has the making of a great centre back also at the back Jean Francois looks big strong and skilfull ,I reckon he will make the odd blunder but have been very impressed with him. Macdonald ,looked excellent ,just what we need in the middle ,comfortable on the ball and good range of passing.
Kruk ,Flynn, Philliskirk and Porter ,need to see more of them , at the moment my line up would be :
Simmonsen
Lowton Collins Maguire Jean Francois
Williamson Macdonald Montgomery Flynn
Porter Bogdanovic
but I think a keeper and a forward are imperative. I would also like to see another winger brought in and put Williamson in the middle with either Macallister or Macdonald.
