Simple solution to getting rid of a Blades manager you don't want.... play Middlesbrough in your next game.

I'll be there. I also realised the other day that the last time we had a new manager it was Boro we played, 5th Round FA Cup tie wasn't it. 0-0 if I recall, went to Boro for the replay and we lost in the last minute.

My guess for the lineup:

Simmo
Nos Morgan Bartley Jordan
Monty Ertl
Ward------------Yeates
Cresswell

Can see Evans being rested as he didn't seem right on Saturday after the knock at Cardiff

Speed's tactics will be to only use 10 players then??? :D

Looks like we're going to be up against Killa, he's just signed for Boro on loan for the rest of the season.

Simonsen
*Calve Morgan Nosworthy Jordan
Yeates Britton Ertl Cresswell
Ward Evans

Subs - Aksalu, Kozluk, Bartley, Montgomery, Quinn, Chapell, Bogdanovic

*On the assumption that the rumours are right and he's signing for us. If not its got to be Nozzy at right back and Bartley in the middle.

UTB

What ever happens it won't be good enough for some. We could win 4-0 playing with Brazilian style flair and some on this forum would manage to moan like fuck. Yes you know who you are! I can see it now, oh speed is a cunt we should have scored 10, we only passed it 13 times before the 4th goal, simmonsen never touched the ball all match and he expects to hey paid for that? lazy bastard! Seriously tho am really looking forward to the game and I hope that the doom and gloom merchants give speed more than 5 minutes before the daggers are out.

Realise its on tv,and a wank k.o time on a Sunday but think we're taking around 600,which is piss poor IMO.

Why Britton behind Evans??..If we want to use Britton right i think he should be placed between defence and midfield. I hope Speed goes for 4-4-2

what a numpty you are. Where have you been the last week? All the 'sunshine band, have backed Speed and agreed to give him time. As a leading member of the 'sunshine band' i'll go on recrd saying I'd be happy with a point. Still if we play poorly, do you expect people not to be critical? i'm behind Speed, but as a paying fan I reserve the right to be critical.

Everyone is taling about 4-5-1, but why not go out and try to win it? Boro are beatable and I should hope the lads would be up for it with a new gaffer and all. I'd play 4-4-2

------------- SS

Nos Lorgs Bartley Taylor

Ward Ertl Britton Yeates

-------- Evans Cressy

My prediction is a tight game that will end in a draw (either nil nil or 1-1) but I fear Boro might just nick it with the odd goal.

Whether I agree or not I think Speed will start cautious for this one, although I agree they are beatable. So 4-5-1 is the obvious formation.

Never really understood why the 4-5-1 away from home was so heavily argued, it can be very effective and is adaptable.

If Ched's still not 100% then I'd try Boggy up front but we have to play into his feet.

Personally I'm very excited about this one, just hope Mr Pickwicks in Zug doesn't decide that afghan womens bowls has more appeal and I at least get one of the larger screens to watch it on
