On-topic discussion of our pre-season trip to Bracken Moor.

Just a reminder that this is tonight :)

Worth the trip alone for the pie and peas!

Blades: Bennett, Jihai, Lowton, Chanot, Naughton, Carney, Wedgbury, Hendrie, Armstrong, Robertson, Law, Annerson, Askham, Chapman, Travis, K.Quinn, Walker

Blades won 2-0... Both goals from penalties, hit woodwork various times...

Will prob type more tomorrow but people who impressed me most tonight include....

Lee Hendrie - looks sharp, very good on the ball, bags of effort and vocal helping the rest.
Chris Armstrong,
Maxime Chanote.

Some absolute tails behind us slagging Sun Ji Hai from about 2 mins before the match, they had an absolutely unbelievable view of the game, I just hope the poor mates they were informing back home realise they talk crap.

Found a report on sheffutd.vitalfootball.co.uk, said Law had a good game and had praise for Sun Jihai. Be pleased to hear/read your thoughts Foxy when you get time. Glad to know Hendrie is perking up.

TBH, I didn't think Law was his usual self, other than winning a couple of pens.

Will type more for you tomorrow, need sleep after a busy day! :D

Jihai was steady, very good on the ball, never wasted a pass (even if most were easy balls). He's definately lacking fitness though.

Wasn't the best game... few of them had a good game, managed to get close to the net - just not in it!

Pie & peas was as good as ever though :D

WHO???????????????????????

Maxime Chanot

Big young french centre back, won absolutely everything in the air, did well on the floor. Same lad who headed into his own net against Farsley last week :)
