Tricky game this. Norwich are a decent outfit.

Think I would stick with the same team (barring any new signing this week). Almost certainly the same abck 4. Perhaps (if he is fit) then I would start Yeates (in for Quinn) to give us more attacking options. I gather Ward and Evans struggled the other day, but I think that was about the conditions and would give them a chance at home and in (hopefully) better conditions.

Unfortunately think we might get turned over by Norwich. Reckon it will be 1-2.

A few Norwich mates think we can beat them this time round, I think taking a battering from Cov and coming away with a point and a clean sheet will have done us the world of good in terms of confidence.

We have to start with Ward though as we need someone fairly quick to run at their defenders, they aren't particularly keen on that!

Is Saturday a must win for Adams? He's had 4 games in charge and still no win. 5 would be psuhing little. Warnock, Speed, Robson and Blackwell all won at least one of their first few games. Arguably Adams has inherited the worst squad, but we have not really looked like winning any of the games.

After a decent result away, then we are set up for a first win. From what I gather Norwich are not that good and are in an inflated league position. I rate their manager, but they haven't strengthened that much since promotion. At home, against a newly promoted team, you'd expect us to (normally) be winning these type of games. I at least expect some sort of result from this one.

Disagree Oli, we really look like wining at Norwich until the ref and lino fucked us, we were in front at Burnley but we were fucked by bad defending and for a split second we looked like wining at Coventry but we were fucked by poor finishing.

PS. Sorry just rememberd Adams was not in charge at Norwich.

Norwich attack away, and I fear they are going to decimate us on the counter attack.

I was not at either of the games so you may be in a better position than me to give opinion. The Burnley result seemed pretty comprehensive. We lead early on, but were 2 goals behind at h/t. We then chased the game (unsuccessfully) for the second half. I listened to Radio Shef on Saturday and although it sounded like Quinn missed a sitter, McSheffrey hit the post and missed a gilt edged chance late on. Simmonsen also got man of the match, which is a reflection of Coventry dominance. Don't get me wrong, it was a hard fought, battling result and very positive, but I am not sure we looked like winning that game.

Adams will have done his homework and I am sure he'll be aware of this. I think he'll be catious and try to keep it tight for the first half. Our defence is poor though, so it is a worry.

They also fall down in the penalty area far too frequently for me, and their fans shout 'Hand-Ball' for just about everything.
I think they will get at least one Penalty on saturday.

I genuinely think United have a good chance of winning this one. I've watched Norwich a few times and I'm still not impressed. They're a side full of beans and riding off the back of promotion still. They're ok but nothing to fear IMO.

Based on what we have in the squad at present, I would go with:-

Simonsen
Lowton, Bartley, Lowry, Mattock
Ward, Williamson, Montgomery, Yeates
Evans, Bent

Long, Kozluk, Ertl, Britton, Quinn, Cresswell, Bogdanovic

Barring anyone going out/coming in before the weekend I think that's about the best we've got. I get the feeling MA might be looking to bring in someone who can play right back before the weekend (just a hunch). Matty Lowton is going to be a good player and I like to see him getting games but against the in-form Wes Hoolahan, he might have a few problems.

Prediction: Blades to play well and win 2-1

I'd be happy with that line up.

Exactly the same starting line-up I suggested to my lad last night! Don't think Britton will make the bench though.....................
