CONFIRMED 2019/2020 Kit Mega Thread

That's a shame. I was hoping that with promotion, the club would capitalise on the biggest opportunity to release the kit in time for the summer, you know, that period in which the shirts are most likely to be worn.

I suppose you can't have it all.

I said the same thing Barney. I was there to buy two shirts for my lads birthdays which are next week (causes a nightmare with arguments with the wife when we get to a play off final and the organising of the kids birthday parties!) and because the old shirts are on the way out they're already out of date, but still cost £20 and for the youngest lad they didn't have his size in.

I could buy them earlier in the season and then give them to the lads on their birthdays but then they're already last seasons kits.

And of course, the new kits aren't out yet so I can't get them either. I did say to him, it would be great if the kit came out when the old kit runs out so we don't have two months in the summer when you can't get an in date home shirt, but that seems beyond Adidas, or maybe that's just the way things are I don't know.

Think that's just the way United do things.

Adidas have got plenty of next season's kits out for other clubs, Leicester for example, but we seem to like to leave sponsors a bit late so an early release is impossible.

Ignore the actual kit, but I'm sure Foxy would agree that I've guessed the sponsor correctly?

I don't think "Specialised Tools and Equipment Limited" are a financial services platform company somehow

Aye, I doubt a Sheffield based tool supplier have the cash to be a title sponsor for a premier League team.

It's one thing sponsoring some cagoules and teamwear for the bus tour, another getting your name on the kit.

Hmm...something tells me he is right.

Why join up today and post straight on this thread about the sponsor if you don't know something.

He would also look daft if he's wrong.

Well no offence to STEL tools and stuff, but it'd hardly be a step up from Ramsdens financially, and they're not an "innovative and successful financial services platform".

Or is this a whoosh moment and you're being sarcastic?

Think Jimmy has just had a look at the parade, seen the coat sponsors and gone with it.

Sorry I didn't see the quote from the club about the financial services platform.

Who knows then.

Perhaps Foxy will rule it out if its not true, and won't if it is.

Is there a website to knock up these concept shirts, or is it a tricky photoshop job?

There's a few you can design them on but they're not great.

All the professional looking ones are probably done with photoshop.

Really, do you think this local company fits with this description from the club?

We're in final talks with a new shirt sponsor, an international company, which will be the biggest commercial deal this club has ever done in it's history.

Me neither tbh.

I'd missed the 'Successful financial' aspect of previous sponsor talks in this thread, but did have it on good faith from a reliable source, but alas, things are always subject to change and if a better offer came through I'm sure Stephen Bettis and co will have waited until they had a few options to hand

I had this news before the parade, even before the tickets competition in association with STEL, same as I said..its likely that Bettis and co had a few options to go through and things may have changed. I would much prefer a better sponsor tbh, but as long as we go traditional stripes... I'm in

Maybe they're sleeve sponsors but definitely not main sponsors now unless something goes tits up.

Is it right the home kit has the black pin stripes back on it and the away shirt is mainly all black with a lace up collar? I bleeding well hope not for the away shirt.

WYEDP?

That's interesting Bromton, I assumed it was Adidas who had control here but guessing not.
