Realised watching the Sunderland game last night that adidas are actually capable of providing shirts with stripes on the sleeves.

That with the stripes reversed would be fine.
I want stripes back on the bloody sleeves!!!

Indeed. Has to be stripes back on the sleeves for me.

And those stripes are of perfectly good thickness unlike the blocks shown in mattbianco1's post.

Believe it or not it's really not difficult to design a red and white striped shirt.

I could literally design one in 20 minutes and it would be better and probably sell more than our past 3 home kits.

Agreed re : solid back, that's why I only showed the front.
I can't remember if someone mentioned in the past that striped shirts had to be striped front & back this season or whether that was for another competition.
It was more the point about the striped sleeves that we seem to be unable to get recently with adidas.

Home shirt needs to mimmick the 17/18 effort, with stripes on the sleeves. That'd be the perfect home shirt.

Just had to make sure, but we've not had stripes on the sleeves since 13/14, which is mad really.

Get some stripes ont sleeves. Sortitaaaaat Adidas.

Do League Two kits automatically look worse than from leagues above because they're in L2? Sunderland's League One kit was better than United's this season

I prefer United's kit but you're right, the only difference is sponsor prestige. League Two outfits might be sponsored by Stevenson's Nissan or Dave's Construction Co but the kits are the same templates and the same quality, some are better than Championship ones because they're more likely to have a kit supplier with less contracts. Bradford have had 2 great Avec kits this season for example.

Haven't read all the posts on here but a few, me included, were wondering how long we've got with Adidas? Apologies if posted elsewhere, but I was at the club shop today and asked a member of the staff and its three more seasons! I sighed because I'm not a fan of the Adidas kits but apparently the current home shirt is the best selling kit United have ever had! So I can't really argue with that!

I also asked when the kit is out but he didn't know as that's not known yet, even to the staff, nor the design.

That's a shame. I was hoping that with promotion, the club would capitalise on the biggest opportunity to release the kit in time for the summer, you know, that period in which the shirts are most likely to be worn.

I suppose you can't have it all.
