Even me? What are you talking about? Don't talk to me like I'm stupid.

Yes, I know throws happen all the time. Well done for pointing that out.

My initial post points out both goals originated from the left. They did.

Something has to lead to the throw in. There's a reason for them to be in that position. As I said, let's see what led to that one. OK?
Your initial post hinted that Done was responsible/part responsible for both goals. I would despute that. It's also highly unlikely the highlights will show anything before the throw in. Nobody has said your stupid. Let's not turn it into something different. My point being that you are normally very knowledgable and it appeared that you were blaming him without acknowledging (at first) the poor contributions of the other defenders.
I'm assuming you don't like Done. Personally I just don't like Done at wingback. Been there last year. Didn't work. Surprised with the amount of games Wilder supposedly saw us play that he hasn't realised this too.

Naive/stupid pretty much the same thing. But let's gloss over that.

It'll be on Bladesplayer. I thought it was sloppy play on our left, I'll watch it again.

No I don't rate Done much at all. Especially out wide. Not a defender and doesn't even offer anything going forward. Loves to be offside. Don't know why Wilder's put him there ahead of both Hussey and Riley.

I think if Riley had been here a week longer he may have started but he's young and possibly needed educating more on the way we play. I doubt Hussey will be here much longer. With Lafferty, Done and Riley ahead of him it's clear Wilder doesn't fancy him. I still think Wright in the middle of the three gives us far more solidity.

Both goals looked extremely poor defensively, although I'm not sure you could single one player out for either. According to the early reports, the lad has got past Basham too easily, however it looked to me as though he managed to stroll past about 3 or 4 of our players on that left side. The second one is just poor team defending the long throw.

I also think we looked better with Wright in the middle of JOC and EEL, but it's not as if Basham's had a particularly poor game, I just think that with Wright there, we look a better unit.

As for Done, I thought he did ok first half and was involved in some of our better play, but he's not a wing back. I think CW seems to like him and therefore wants to fit him in. Personally, I was disappointed we didn't get to see Riley. I can understand why we went 4-4-2 but I thought it nullified the threat of Freeman as he was forced to play deeper, when he'd been giving them nightmares before that operating almost as an out and out winger.

People say he's not good enough but we clearly miss him when he's not playing.
not just no wins but 6 goals conceded. I rate his defensive strength and think we've got plenty going forward as creators. Wilder clearly thinks we need another finisher based on what he's said today and I'd agree

Absolutely spot on. For once Wilders substitutions had the opposite effect and Gillingham saw far more of the ball late on than we would have liked. Freeman was doing well and we looked a threat but it ended when he dropped deep

Is it him that should drop out for Wright maybe?
Fleetwood aren't a big physical side. Would be worth a try in my book though I doubt Wilder would see it that way. Maybe EEL needs a break. All the other central defenders have had one at some point

It's harsh when he's made so many great decisions this season, but I thought bringing McNulty on for Lavery reduced our goal threat and then when Freeman dropped back when we went 442. Should have left Freeman essentially on the wing and either brought on Wilson to play full back or even moved Basham there.
