Any one had the pleasure ?
Blades 0-1 Sunderland
Jumped in car went down m1 to watch Derby lose (I think to west ham ) Wayne Quinn was playing for shammers .
Then we had a night out in derby
I'm not sure but I guess not many on here have achieved this amazing feat 😂

I remember watching The Blades win at Donny on a Sunday morning then jumping in the car to somewhere like Batley to watch the Eagles in the afternoon.

Did 2 in two days. One of my mates is a Barnsley fan, but went to uni in Preston.

Last games of 2003/04 they had Stockport away on the Saturday, Baaarnsley won 2-3. Then we went for a night out in Preston before seeing United's 3-3 draw. 11 goals in 2 days. Andy Gray's beautiful goal to top it off too.

Back in the pre - Super League era the Easter programme would usually look like

12.30 - St Helens v Wigan
3.00 - Widnes v Warrington
7.30 - Bradford v Leeds

Did it once and also Blades v Reading followed by Wakefield v Cas in our last PL season.

Watched plenty games live and then watched the recording at home later. Does that count?

Easter Monday 1992

Wendy 2 Norwich 0

Notts County 1 Blades 3

with my Norwich mate who stayed at my house for Easter.

Also

Rotherham 4 Norwich 4. My son left the ground to head for the Lane when the score was 2-3

Blades 3 Hammers 3. My Norwich mate and his son arrived at the Lane when the score was 0-1 after they left Millmoor at full time

Took in Rotherham v Halifax early kick off, then Blades at home, can't remember opposition or date.

It was either 31 st December 1988, or 28th December 1998.

If Blades were at home on either of those dates it was that one.

One for Silent I think ?

I did Dundee v Blades, a night match in the Anglo Scottish Cup, travelled home by coach, had a couple of hours sleep on my mates settee the caught the train to London to watch England at Wembley.
I wouldn’t do it today though.

Boxing day 2005 saw Sheff Club play Hallam at Dronfield at dinner time, then straight to the Lane after to see us lose to Norwich at home.

Does this count, August 2013, England v Aussies at Old Trafford for the Ashes, got back to the Lane for the last hour of our opening game v Notts County (McDonalds last game as a Blade I seem to remember and perhaps Weirs only league victory as United manager).

F**k me have we got 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks of this !!!

Who is going to go mad first I wonder???

Late 80s or thereabouts. Blades v Can't remember on the Sat afternoon, then drove to Field Mill for Mansfield v Preston for a Sat evening F A Cup first rounder. Fog descended after 5 mins and match abandoned after about 15. Took nearly 3 hours to drive back to Sheffield in the fog. Oh, and Jumpers for Goalposts. But at least there were big rolls in the gents.
