It was 7-0. For the first half the TV highlights were shown in colour but the quality wasn't good so for the second half the highlights were shown in black and white
Due to torrential rain in first half

Thanks for that,it said 7-1 in the programme but I always remembered it as 7-0,I wish these people would get stuff right cos they make me feel like I’m losing my marbles

I dont remember being aware that the Blades had travelled to Cyprus to play in a tournament. At the time I was looking forward to watching the 1974 World Cup matches live on tv. I had the below football sticker album and I would keep looking at the faces for each teams

I dont have match report of the match. Our line up was; Brown, Badger, Ogden, Eddy, Colquhoun, Flynn, Woodward, Franks, Speight, Salmons, Field (Nicholl).

Found these from an Alan Woodward testimonial game at Ball Inn. The Staff side won 6-2 although I was brought down for both penalties for our goals. it was the day after the victory at Maine Road with Geoff Slamons scoring direct from a corner. my main memories are Keith Furphy flicking the ball over my head and running past me as if wasn't there and after my best ever header, Alan Hodgkinson walking across the goal to catch the ball and even needing to dive! Great days
