Got my ticket for this one. Already started a discussion (http://www.s24su.com/showthread.php...-vs-Sheffield-United-19-2&p=312657#post312657) in the exiles thread, but it's been cut short.

There will be a meet up between some London Blades if anyone is interested. Due to the trouble with Millwall on Sat, and them being at home, it is probably not wise to put a location. If you PM one of the London Blades (Walthy, Highbuty or myself) then we can tell you were.

Can't make predictions until after tonight I'm afraid. MASSIVE game though.

Have also got my ticket. Not looking forward to it, especially not after what I witnessed on Saturday, when I came up to the Lane with my Millwall mate.

If we didnt need to win this game before we certainly do now. My team for Saturday (if all fit and available) would be:-

Simonsen
Parrino, Collins, Lowry, Jordan
Riise, Williamson, Doyle, Yeates
Vokes, Bogdanovic

Long, Lowton, Nosworthy, Ertl, Quinn, Evans, Bent

It goes against my better judgement to leave Ched out when he's been one of our better players recently but fair is fair and after making an impact in both of the last two games Boggy should be given his chance. I would like to see Vokes start again as he has a bit of quality.

Prediction: Another 1-1 draw I think

For anyone now thinking about it - you can get a £25 day return to That on Grand Central Trains as a walk up fare on any train.

But you have to make your way to WAkefield Kirkgate first......

I know we desperately need a win, pointless suggesting otherwise but you sound as if we are 8 points adrift Steel. Draw on saturday, somehow win at Scunthorpe and Derby at home to come. Surely a chance to get back at least level with 21st spot or remain very much in touch? Tougher fixtures to come on paper but I do feel that if somehow Adams can find a reasonably settled side we have a very decent chance of finishing 4th bottom.

I've sort of lost the plot with all our loan signings. How many are we allowed on the pitch at any one time (because if WE break that rule you can bet your life it won't be the standard slap on the wrist that some other clubs have had) and how many of the proposed players in everyones teams are actually on loan now?

We could find ourselves that far adrift if we dont win a couple soon mic. Saturday is a six pointer in every sense of the expression and a whole lot more. A win for Palace would give them a huge mental lift and would be a hammer blow to us. It is imperitive we come away with something but for the sake of confidence and for Micky, we need to win the game badly. The longer this run goes on the harder it will become. It might seem like we have plenty of games left now but April/May will be upon us before you know it!

Saturday could well be the crossroads of our season. A win would boost confidence ahead of Scunthorpe and another win there would set us off flying with a lacklustre Derby to come. We have to go for it big time! A win in either the game against Millwall or against Reading would have given us a real springboard but that's gone now and it just makes the next few games critical, rather than important.

My team for Sat-di would be:

------ SS

Parrino Collins Lowry Nos

Riise Willo Doyle Quinn

---- Ched Boggy

My choice would be

Simmo
Parrino Collins Lowry Jordan
Riise Willo Doyle Quinn
Vokes Ched

I would like to see the young welsh lads together - they must have played as a pair for the u21s

Also Boggy is doing a great job as a sub/impact player - he offers something different off the bench at the moment.

I'm actually a lot more excited about tomorrow than I expected to be. Looking forward to a few beers before the game.

I'm surprised so many people are still picking Jordan. I thought Lowton was a vast improvement on him when he replaced him on Tuesday night.
Palace and Scunthorpe are both "must not lose" rather than "must win" games. Derby at home is the "must win" game. My team:-

Simonsen
Parrino Collins Lowry Lowton
Riise Williamson Doyle Quinn
Evans Bogdanovich
Subs:- Long, Nosworthy, Ertl, Tonne, Yeates, Vokes, Bent

Richard Cresswell is the latest injury doubt for Micky Adams' depleted Sheffield United squad ahead of the trip to Crystal Palace.

Another injury doubt, Ive just purchased a luck rabbits foot for this one, have fingers and toes crossed, and will be looking for two magpies shortly.

A Cresswell injury is addition by subtraction.

United never win games like this - even in good years - but they do torture us with draws sometimes, and I have a sneaking suspicion we'll get a point. Pretty pleased with the two loan signings we've made this week, which is a first for me where Adams is concerned.

Nos in for Parrino? according to RS, unconfirmed as yet.

Not as bad as some may think, Nos despite his shaky spell before his injury may well be needed in this situation. Parrino has done ok but does give wingers a little too much slack for my liking.

Heard on radio pig that nos the clown set to start also bjorn helge Risse set to start!

Cressy:-Orite micky can i play up front this week i am a really good striker.
Micky:- Yes of course you can

Pleased to see Boggy get a start, but Chuffin Nosworthy!

Perhaps now though we can finally say that we've got a strong attacking bench

5 changes again, we need a side we can stick with. God knows how Cressy keeps getting a game.
