As always, keep an eye on our twitter http://twitter.com/s24su for updates.

Hibernians 0 - 1 Blades - Daniel Bogdanovic.

Hibernians 1 - 1 Blades - Penalty, Maguire sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

Hmm. Is that the 2nd time for Maguire now in only a handful of games? It normally has to be hugely blatant for a ref to send you off in preseason. Bit of a worry this. Ertl and Morgs unlikely to be back before October - it's Maguire, Collins and Lecs till then...

Half time changes for the Blades: Long, Kozluk, McCallister, Kruk and Conneely on for Simmo, Lowton, Flynn, Boggy, and Willo.

Blades just gone 2-1 up too.

Full time, the Blades win 2-1.

3 wins on the bounce! :) When did that last happen?

The team that started is pretty much the team that I expect to be starting at Oldham. Nice to see Boggy get a goal. It looks like he will be staying and I think he could do some damage in this league. It is up to Wilson to get the best out of him. He can be lazy, does not like a fight and go missing. But his touch is good, he finishes well and wins dangerous free kicks and penalty. Most importantly he can turn a game. We do not have many potential game winners in the squad and for that reason I'd keep Bogdanovic. We all know he can make a big impact coming off the bench. Also nice to see Dave Mac get on the score sheet too. Similar to Doyle in the last game. We did not score enough from midfield last season. With Doyle, McAllister, Williamon and Harriot (plus mayeb Quinn) pushing for a central midfield starting role then I think we are in a healthy position.
