Thompson is an odd case: some places he's listed as permanent, some he's not. I'm certain he was given the job until the end of the season, which keeps him off the list IMHO though this is not an exact science.

Spackman was on a players contract throughout his time in charge, One of the many issues he had with MacDonald and Grreen although he was in charge for so long he probably should be included as permanent manager.
