13 to go. How many do you think we will win?

We need at least another 21 points to have achance of avoiding the drop - 50 is the magic number in this division.
That means a minumum of 7 wins from 13 games which is over half - one win in the last 13 tells you that this is as remote as the North Pole.

This is my assessment of how we will do in the remaining games

Sheff Utd v Derby - 1 point -both teams are in shit form so cannot see us getting more than a point - could be a 0-0 draw
Portsmouth v Sheff Utd - 0 points - way too strong for us and Cotterill will rip us apart
Sheff Utd v Nott'm Forest - 0 points - too confident for us - they will score at least 3
Watford v Sheff Utd - 0 points - dreadful record at Vicarage Rd
Sheff Utd v Leeds - 0 points - Way too strong for us - could be a rout
QPR v Sheff Utd - 0 points - do you have to ask?
Sheff Utd v Middlesbrough - 3 points - scrappy 1-0 since we will be well adrift by this time and the pressure will be less
Sheff Utd v Cardiff - 0 points - another no brainer
Preston v Sheff Utd - 0 points - combi of our shit away form and Preston improving markedly under Phil Brown
Sheff Utd v Bristol City - 3 points - poor team even with Maynard back but we will already be down by this match
Reading v Sheff Utd - 1 point - have to get a point on the road at some stage and they may have nothing to play for by then
Sheff Utd v Barnsley - 0 points - Dingle delight as the Reds triumph over us at the Lane, again
Swansea v Sheff Utd - 0 points - stuffed out of site as they go for one of the automatic spots

So a tally of 8 points to take us to 37

Prediction = Bottom of the table finish

i think ur being optimistic kenilworth to think we ll get two more wins.

as the song goes 'we re sh@t and we know we are!'

1 win and that will be because the other team score an own goal.

I did this last night and tried to be realistic;

Sheff Utd v Derby - 3 points
Portsmouth v Sheff Utd - 0 points
Sheff Utd v Nott'm Forest - 0 points
Watford v Sheff Utd - 1 point
Sheff Utd v Leeds - 1 point
QPR v Sheff Utd - 0 points
Sheff Utd v Middlesbrough - 3 points
Sheff Utd v Cardiff - 0 points
Preston v Sheff Utd - 1 point
Sheff Utd v Bristol City - 3 points
Reading v Sheff Utd - 0 points
Sheff Utd v Barnsley - 3 points
Swansea v Sheff Utd - 0 points

15 more points maximum I think, sadly still not enough.

Nine and we'll all think we've had a good season.

McCabe said we are not going down.

Leeds, Forest, QPR and Swansea will be games when we drop points, all the rest ARE winable!!

So were the games against Scunthorpe, Crystal Palace, Reading, Millwall, Ipswich, Leicester..........

What time did Reading start to turn things around last season? I think it was similar to this time last season (i could be wrong) but it shows maybe after we get that win we could put a few wins together, albeit they had a completely different squad to us.

Sheff Utd v Derby - win
Portsmouth v Sheff Utd - draw
Sheff Utd v Nott'm Forest - win
Watford v Sheff Utd - draw
Sheff Utd v Leeds - win
QPR v Sheff Utd - lose
Sheff Utd v Middlesbrough - win
Sheff Utd v Cardiff - draw
Preston v Sheff Utd - draw
Sheff Utd v Bristol City - win
Reading v Sheff Utd - lose
Sheff Utd v Barnsley - win
Swansea v Sheff Utd - draw

23 points and safe

We'll win enough games to give us that little bit of hope that we might just get out of it, before the final nail is driven firmly into the coffin to slay us all.

It's the Blades way.
