He has been played there and not very effectively because he is a big centre-forward and should be alongside Bamford or back-up to him on the bench. Hamer was also routinely played out of position on the left. Don’t know why we can’t get an actual left-sided attacking midfielder except that when we did (BBD), he was played on the right!

If we play Chong Ohare and Donovan we will get over run. Also not sure about Jairo as he looked well off it v Bochum but hes a safe choice if fully fit. I think
10 of your choices will play but Rothwell will be in the 11 for either Chong (injured?) or Donovan

Played there in his cameo vs Mansfield where he looked good, gave us a nice balance to the team with pace in wide areas and O’Hare in his best position. He is a striker long term though, so I’d like to see him get minutes in both positions this season. Personally would start him on the left in a 4-2-3-1 vs Birmingham.

He played on the left in the Selles pre-season, if I remember correctly. Also played at least once on the right for Lincoln and possibly on the left as well.
And someone on the Birmingham presser thread reported CW as saying that One can play left, right and up front.
