Had a look through the fixtures and looked like Burnley have a few tough away games in comparison. Leeds also have a few tough ones coming up.

I'm predicting we'll have clinched second before we play Burnley 😉
Possible but we'll have to go on some run and be 10 points clear of them by then.

It's also really important we don't lose at Burnley.
Our record against the top four is really poor, it can't continue or we'll hand them the initiative.
If we don't lose at Burnley I am confident we go up.
If we are around 7 or 8 points above them going into that game I would still be very nervous though.

If we're 7 or 8 points ahead when we go to Burnley then you'd have to think it's over regardless of that result.

It will be precarious if the lead is 2/3 points as their GD is so much stronger and it's unlikely we'll be able to overturn that.

Only if Burnley don't drop points drawing any of their last 12 games...and they draw a lot of games.....and we go there knowing they must win and we get the draw as an acceptable result too.on top of a win being good

.if Burnley draw their game in hand we would be 4 points ahead so we could lose at Burnley and still have the advantage

Pressure moves onto Leeds now. Portsmouth away, Millwall at home and QPR away in 6 days.

Piece of piss, they’ll win all 3 by at least 2 clear goals. We need to keep winning and hope Burnley drop some points before we play them to give us breathing room
It’s shaping up as the highest 3rd place points total ever… whoever that may be!

Take one down, smash it around, 6 bottles of beer on the wall.
It's only 6 because he started with 10 and then just decided to miss a few out. I'm not so sure that 6 more get you up automatically, whereas the original 10 would have done as we'd need another 8.

It's still 10 more wins needed. Only way that the wins needed becomes less than games left is to beat Burnley or Leeds/Burnley drop points. Historical points for promotion doesn't apply to this season.

Nobody is winning 10/10… so folk have been estimating how many more (realistic) wins it will take.

If we get 104 points in total, then Burnley cant reach 104 points. 9 wins and a draw sees us up.

I actually misread the thread title as 10 More Whines. Imagine my disappointment when I didn’t find loads of stuff about the points deduction, size of crowds, the atmosphere, Tom Cannon, vaping etc etc.

Got any insightful tips for Cheltenham? I fancy losing all my money 😀
When gambling doing the opposite of what I suggest normally brings success. You can thank me for Leeds losing today.

It would be nice to play Burnley 11 v 11 at their place for a change.

McBurnie sending off was ridiculous and the one from Wes was incredibly stupid on his part.

Key there would be to keep Brownhill quiet.

They could say the same about us and Hamer but I think we are less reliant on him than before the window.

Although I think he had a pretty crap game on Saturday, I don’t dislike the McCallum for Hamer sub, as it should make us more robust to close games out, something Hamer occasionally lacks.

If anything the one we miss when out is O’Hare because he’s so good when we don’t have the ball.
