It was a completely different team and a breath of fresh air for near enough the first 40 minutes

Then it all came crashing down!

However we start on Saturday, this will be in the back of my mind until the final whistle

For some reason, I really enjoyed that trip, it was great fun. We were quite literally laughably bad. Unfortunately, this one kind of snuck up on me so I'm not going.

I remember going to the old ground years ago. Plenty of Blades were behind the goal on the home end and the usual (as was then) melee started. Scunthorpe fans backed off to one side, blades fans trying to edge them further away, when out of the home supporters came this charging rhino intent on taking back territory. Blades fans began backing off, the BBC were retreating, not through fear but through uncontrolled hysteria. Scunnys 'top boy' was a rather rotund, rubenesque girl. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in years of watching United. Beware people!!

I remember it ,they also had a nutter who came in windmilling while wearing a crash helmet as though he wouldn't get spotted.

Why do we constantly lose to Scunthorpe? they have been unconvincing at best this season but they will definitley 100% beat us later, im sorry but they just will. I would feel more confident playing Barcelona away.

I wouldn't be as confident as you away in the Nou Camp but today could be the day we get beat in the league, Scunthorpe are the bogey team but we haven't played them when playing this well for a while IMO so more confident than last year however if we do go 2 nil inside 20 mins today i would definitely fancy us to win.

They have a keeper on loan from Manure as a consequence

No Josh Lillis for Scunthorpe which is good news for us, particularly when added to Bobby Grant's ban.
