Presume we've not sold out for this?

I was going to save some money and save myself rushing to my grandparents' 50th anniversary party but I just really fancy going!

Memories of last season's debacle have just come flooding back. After that match I knew we would be relegated.

the scunthorpe match now signals the start of the hard work as 6 of the next 9 matches will define our season as there all tricky because Huddersfield, Charlton MK Dons Preston & Wednesday should all be in auto & play off contention & scunthorpes different as we cant seem to beat them even thought we dominated them at home last year & somehow lost 4-0

On the other hand Scunthorpe have not won yet this season....

Sometimes that doesn't matter. United just seem to reserve a dreadful performance for Scunthorpe every time we go there.

I had 2 games down as cert defeats before this season: Scunthorpe away, and of course Chesterfield away. If we avoid defeat on Saturday I'll really start to believe in this team!

But before this season we never beat Brentford at home......

Looks like me and Foxy made it just in time during our dinner hours today!!

First time I've been in the side stand on my 4th visit here, maybe that'll change our luck...

I'm glad I remembered yesterday! Normally get em all on day 1 of sale but with being away around the Yeovil match it completely slipped my mind :D

I thought time before last when we ended up in the home end that it might be lucky, sadly not :D

Haha, any excuse!

I'm sure we'd have got away with a ticket in the home end if we'd sold out before we got there :)

Well on that occasion, we did actually enter the away end with our home tickets, before having to fess up and shift into the home end when we filled the side :D

I would not be surprised if this is where our unbeaten run ends. I hate scunthorpe

this is where we finally put an end to our dreadful record against Scunthorpe and finally win at Glanford Park. I fancy us to put in a thoroughly professional performance and come away with a 2-0 win. They are crap and they no lonager have Adkins (though this did not stop ale house Micky's pub team losing to them last season) and this is evidenced by the fact they have not won yet. It will be important not to underestimate them, but I don't think we'll do that. He will pick a solid team and aim to give them nothing. Keep it tight and we'll have enough quality to nick one or two. That said, I'd quite like us to take the confidence from last week and steamroller what is a poor third division side (and break our duck in style!).

... (though this did not stop ale house Micky's pub team losing to them last season) ...

It was a completely different team and a breath of fresh air for near enough the first 40 minutes :)

Then it all came crashing down!

However we start on Saturday, this will be in the back of my mind until the final whistle :D

Anyone able to tell me the best/safest place to park on Saturday please?

Don't think there's much to choose from to be honest mate, can only suggest the car park at the ground from past visits...

thanks Daz. Had a look on google maps and it looks that way

As Daz says, the car park at the ground is fine and unless you get caught with them shifting the coaches/buses to the train station it's normally quicker than most to get away from.

Might be about a fiver though, depends if they've reduced it this year :)

Away at Scunthorpe tricky fixture this one.

Scunny have top scorer Grant suspended! Added to our good defensive start we shouldn't have too much of a problem keeping them at bay!
