Always good to have a pair of eyes, but I thought Lowton was not playing?

Yes you are right. Apologies. From looking at the line up it seems it was Conneely. Took me 30 mins to work out the team and I still got it wrong. Thought he struggled a little bit at right back (as did Warren at left back). Looked reasonable in possession, but got skinned (too easily) a couple of times.

Notice the rapturous applause breaking out in the stand behind for our new leader......

They looked assured on the ball but didn't drive forward with any real purpose. neither of the central midfielders made runs beyond the front two. Tonne wanted to come inside far too much rather than give us any width. Maguire was solid defensively but I have to disagree with Ollie in that I think he did try knocking it long to often. He tried the long diagonal out to our left to often.
