Very surprised at the high cost of tickets for adults to be honest.

I'm very surprised at the prices too. I thought they might do some special offer to get bums on seats with Sky being there, especially with them getting so much stick last season due to having a half-empty stadium on MOTD every week.

£40 (near as damn it) for me and the young un + travel + beer + food = me watching it on TV.

Like I said before, it was £24 quid on New Year's Day a couple of years back so I couldn't see it being greatly cheaper.

They probably think/know they can get away with it because it's a ground most fans in this league won't have visited for a while.

to be honest im more surprised at the distinct lack of allocation rather than the cost of the tickets.

i expected them to be around the £25 mark

I shall hopefully be watching from the South. booked to go out so attempting to get out of it!

Line-up for me will be:

Bunn
Bromby Killa Morgan Taylor
Monty
Cotterill Howard Treacy
Reid
Evans

Subs: Benno, Walker, France, Little, Sharp, Hendo, Quinn

Think that's good enough to win no problems

Probable starting 11

Do you think we will start with kyel reid , williamson , evans , france ??

whats you starting 11 for boro ??

Think theres a good chance of Reid playing, not sure about the rest

SSN said Evans might miss out has he's not upto full fitness because he joined late...

Looking back on the start of last season, I dont think the starting line-up will be as good on paper. No Kenny, Halford or Beattie. For me they were 3 v.important players for us last season.

Blackwell to pull of a midweek coup and sign loan agreements with Barcelona and Real. Team for Friday:

-----Ibrahimovic------------- Benzema---------

Messi---------------Kaka---------------Ronaldo

-------------------Inniesta---------------------

Arbeloa---------Ramos--------Puyol-------Alves

--------------------Casillas---------------------

Remember where you heard it first

How the bleeding hell does that Inniesta get a game instead of Monty?? I'm off to the car park sans shoes!

Even if he did and we played with that team there'd still be fans moaning about 'lack of ambition'!

Heard on't wireless this morning that Walker should be starting for us on friday.

My Selection for what it's worth:

Bunn
Bromby Morgan Killa Taylor
Monty
Cotts Howard Treacy
Reid
Evans

Subs: Benno, Walker, France, Quinn, Sharp, Hendo, Williamson

Walker will still be knackered from the U-19 Tourney, Hendrie and Ward Suspended. Williamson still carrying a knock, but on bench to make up the numbers as not much else to choose from. Expect Evans to play no more than 60mins, with Hendo replacing him. France to replace Cotts at some point too.

How high can Puyol kick it?

Given the fun elsewhere I would think that much of the team that finished last year will start - with hicups - Bennett in goal, with Bromby Morgan Kilgallon and Taylor at the back (if Walker gets back OK I expect him to start - maybe at Taylors expense). The same 'middle' three of Quinn Monty and Howard, with Cotts and Reid wide and with Hendo or Evans to start/share the single striker role (depending who's least out of shape). On the bench we have Bunn, Hendrie, Little, Treacy, France, Taylor or Bromby, and Hendo or Evans. No Sharp or Williamson.

Hendries suspended after the PO final, but i think it'll be something similar to that. Walker to come in instead of Brombs I'd think.
