Quick q, in view of the marketing debate: Why do they let you publish details of ticket-buying but will take you to court if you print a fixture list? "They" is not necesaarily SUFC in this instance, more a general "They".

Quite possibly because "they" haven't noticed us doing it, that or "they" don't fancy a two week argument with me about an even greyer grey area :D

How many going for this then, Woman in the ticket office said they'd hardly sold any when i rung up for mine.

Not going to this one.

A bridge too far on the old purse strings when there's a pre-Christmas jolly in that London to pay for.

The fixture list hasn't been very kind to us, has it? Bristol City, Plymouth and QPR all in the same 4 weeks, leading up to Christmas.

Even more frustrating when you have an away game on Boxing Day, followed by the FA Cup just after New Year, which could be anywhere.

:(

And there was I, waiting for the opportunity to get some thanks ratings for the nice little place outside Plymouth I was going to recommend.:D

Starting to go down that way with work more frequently-tried to organise some meetings for Dec 4 but failed -so always on the lookout for hotles and the like. Got a link?

... which the slightest bit of frost could postpone on us again while we're at a pub 300 yards from the ground and 300 miles away from home :)

Kudos to all those making the trip. But the money I'd have spent on a ticket and hotel will be used to buy my Christmas party outfit. I rather feel I'd get more value out of that!

Speak for yourself, took me 15 minutes to get home :D :D

If that happens again, I'll cry!

Our coach wouldn't start on the way home, so we were stuck in London for about an hour afterwards waiting for another coach to get us :(

5th of December

A couple of months ago, i identifed a spare weekend where i didn't have anything on at work and the Blades were away, and also a weekend where Mrs Brown had no prior arrangements, just so i could take her and baby brown away for the weekend to visit spend a weekend with my little sister before Christmas.

It's no co-incidence that my sister lives in Plymouth!!!

I got mine today over the phone, and only paid £24, as opposed to the £26 advertised

If I could afford to go down to this I would have, got a fair few friends from Plymouth and living in that area from my days in the navy.

I remember the rain was pretty bad at this fixture a couple of years ago. Not as bad as it sounded in the abandoned match with Barnsley though. It's just generally miserable down here.

Just looked at Argyle's official site, and the headline news story is a video of Paul Sturruck in a hot tub:

Their managerial meetings look like fun!

Some interesting predictions from the Plymouth fans HERE... somehow they think our showing against Bristol means we can score goals :D

As for the weather predictions, see HERE.

Apparently the referee is Graham Horwood... not a name I've heard before.

Amusingly, a quick browse of that board reveals some disquiet about the board neglecting the playing side in favour of chasing the right to host World Cup games in 2018...
